Photo Hunters: Thankful

The Photo Hunters theme this week is thankful. I am thankful for many, many things. But today I would like to tell you that I am thankful for delicious Stinky Goodness and crunchies to fill my tummy. I am a little bit not thankful that I must pose for a photo when I wants to be eating.
As you can see, my brother and I eat with gusto!
And here you can see an animation of us eating!
Can you see the animated gif? You can click HERE for another even bigger version. I hope you can see it because we are moving all around in this picture!

Fashion Friday: A Glamorous Sweater!

I got this very extra-glamorous sweater from my Grandma for my birthday. It has very soft Marabou trim, and you can see it's a beautiful pink color.
My new sweater is a little bit too big for me, but I just cinched the belt up tightly. I might try throwing my new sweater in the laundry and then turning the dryer up to extra-hot. Then it might shrink right up! Sweaters work that way, you know.
Here I am posing for my Glamour shot! I feel real pretty.
Do you think I look mysterious?!
Thanks for the beautiful present, Grandma!

What's in Your Pocket?

Oh, hi! I am upside-down to tell you about some interesting cat trivia. I first learned about this special part when I was reading a comment from my Cornish Rex friends at Curlz and Swirlz. I'll show you what I am talking about...
Do you know what this little pocket in my ear is called? It is called "Henry's pocket." It's the little pocket of skin on the side of the pinna (ear flap). Can you see it?
Here's a close-up of my Henry's pocket. I have frizzled-y furs inside my ears! I wish my pocket were a little bit bigger so I could carry stuff in there. Besides wax, I mean.
Harley wants to show off his Henry's pocket now. Can you see it?
His pocket is pink!
Okay, I'm all done discussing Henry's pocket. I think I will take a nap now. Go check for your own Henry's pocket!
ps: LOOK! As a friend pointed out, Harley has a baby birdie in his ear!

Go Behind the Scenes!

I thought it might be interesting for you to see behind the scenes while I am modeling. So I am posing in front of a mirror! My Mommie is holding up a delicious treat in one hand and trying to work the camera with the other hand.
I do not usually pose in the bedroom, because I do not take that sort of photo.
Here I am doing a real good High Five, because that usually gets me treats! I am a little bit embarrassed because I just noticed I have flabs around my underarms.
At last, my delicious treats! This picture is funny because you can see the mirror image better than the real-life image.
What are your secrets to modeling real good?

An Astounding Magic Trick!

It is the Great Daisini here. We are going to do something extra-fun today! I will teach you how to do a magic trick and you can astound and impress all of your friends. Here I have a quarter. I made a little pocket out of the corner of an envelope, and put the quarter inside.
I am checking the quarter and the paper pocket out very, very carefully! Try to look mysterious when you do this part.
Next, I wave my paw over the quarter and say the magic words "Abracadabra! Please work!"
And then I TEAR the quarter in two! Are you stunned and amazed? I TORE A QUARTER!!!
Here I am making sure the trick worked properly. Ta-dah! Please clap for the Great Daisini!
Do you want to know the secret? Look below...

The "quarter" is made from aluminum foil! Just rub the foil on the quarter to make a lifelike impression. If you do the trick real good, you should get to keep the real quarter.
Important Disclaimer: This trick works much, much better if your audience does not get too close to the "quarter."

Photo Hunters: Warm

The Photo Hunters theme this week is warm. One of my most favorite ways to stay warm is to bask in a sunny spot. It is even better when I am on my beautiful pink sleeping bag.
And for extra-added warmth, I can burrow inside the sleeping bag.
Harley has discovered my sleeping bag, too. I do not enjoy sharing it with him. I tried to tell him that the sleeping bag is pink, but he did not care.

Harley Wears a Hoodie

I GET TO MODEL AGAIN!!! Daisy said it was OKAY to RANSACK her closet. Those were not the EXACT words she used though. And I found this AWESOME clothing. It is called a BAJA HOODIE! Daisy wore it once. But I think I look BETTER in it!
If you are not COLD, you do not have to wear the HOOD part. So you can see what is UNDER my HOOD! That is like what you do with a CAR! And CARS are MANLY! Want to see my GRILL!?!?
I got LOTS of YUMMY TREATS for modeling. I want to do it MORE OFTEN!
Hey! I see a TOY! Gotta GO. GOOD BYE!
Ps: Look what I earned for my GOOD surveillance on Mr. Shrill this week!

I'm Tired of...

Something that makes me very sad, and angry too, is animal cruelty. So, I been thinking about something I can do to help. A couple weeks ago when I was visiting Snuzzy, I saw a story about something real special.
You can get these neat-o charity bracelets from I'm Tired Of... The bracelets are made of recycled tires and metals, and best of all, half of the moneys go to charity! There are many different worthy causes, but we got the "I'm Tired of Animal Cruelty" bracelet.
I inspected the bracelet, and I think it looks really cool!
I even tried to wear it myself, but it is too big to fit on my wrist.
But you can see my Mommie is wearing it! And besides helping the cause with moneys, I think wearing the bracelet will help raise awareness.
