You Have Questions, I Have Answers!
Thanks ever so much for all your great questions! I will answer your questions in two or three parts, okay? This will be fun!How we were gotted:
My Mommeh got me from a Devon Rex breeder. The funny thing is, the breeder was almost across the street from where she lived at the time! It is the same breeder that my sister Pixie came from. As soon as my Mommeh saw me, she knew I would be hers forever.
Harley was borned in a shelter to a feral mamacat who was there to be spayed and released. Since the mamacat was found to be full-term, the bebbehs were delivered, and Harley was one of them! He had been at the shelter my Mommeh used to volunteer at for over 6 months, and when Pixie had to go to the Bridge, Harley came home to live with me forever.
When Harley joined our family, he was very used to being around lots of other cats because of his time at the shelter. So even though I hissed and growled at him, he would slowly back away, and sit quietly next to me. My Mommeh said he had good social skills. Now that we have been together a long time, Harley is always jumping on me and chasing me around and trying to play rough. That makes me mad! Most of the time, we peacefully coexist, but we do not snuggle together.

I am a lap cat, and love to sit on my Mommeh's lap. Harley has just recently decided he enjoys sitting on laps, too! Sometimes both of us will try to sit on her lap at the same time. This also makes me mad!
I always sleep in the big people bed at night. Sometimes I will spend hours kneading and purring at night, and sometimes I try to sleep across my Mommeh's neck. She thinks I am trying to strangle her, but I just like to be close. Harley has recently decided he wants to sleep on the bed, too. This makes me mad!
I have not gone strollering in a LONG time. Now that my Mommeh is working, she does not have as much time to take me Outside. I love strollering, and look all around at the birds and bugs and cars and trees. I liked it right away! Harley does not enjoy strollering as much as I do; he gets a little bit nervous and cries. Sorry for telling that, Harley.
Harley, ruining my good time. Again.About our mom and dad:
Our dad was a vice president for a big bank where he worked for 25 years. He was laid off a few months ago, and in December he started working for another major bank. He likes his new job a lot, I think. Our mom worked for many, many years in the insurance industry, and then she "retired" for about 3 years. She just started a new job last month at 1800PetMeds. She helps other dogs and cats get medicines! Now that she is working full time again, she says it is harder for her to help us blog. During the week, she works from 11:30 am - 8:00 pm, so we go online for a little bit in the mornings, and on her days off. She says it is very, very hard to leave us to go to work because I always try to follow her out the door and cry a little bit. When she gets home, Harley and I are waiting by the door for her.
Various Stuff:
We eat raw food made by Nature's Variety. They are frozen medallions that we just thaw the night before in the refrigerator. I like chicken and rabbit and Harley likes beef and rabbit. Sadly, we do not get Temptations any more. But we love our healthy grain-free treats which are freeze-dried organic duck hearts, turkey hearts, and chicken liver.
My favorite Beatle is the Click Beetle. They jump and make a funny noise.

Please thank your mommeh for all her hard work with the blog, even though she has to spend time helping other kittehs during the day. She is a good mommeh.

Mostly we got that Harley makes you mad, Daisy. A lot. Which proves our point once again... BrOTHERS really are BOTHERS. Srsly.
Oh. And we know first paw how hard it must be for you, Harley and your Mommy to experience such drastic changes. We think it will all work itself out, once everybuddy gets into a rhythm again.

Lots and lots of great info, thank you Daisy! I am sorry mum is back at work. I just left the insurance industry after 11 years, and I am hoping I don't have to leave the kitties behind again every day too, they love having me home.

We love learning new things about our blogging friends. I especially loved learning what makes Daisy mad and how much in common she has with Penny (except Penny has 7 brothers to contend with)! And also how Mommeh used to work for insurance industry...where I went back to work after a two year break. I've already been back a year! Argh!

That is a great post. It is so much fun to learn all about you Daisy and your silly brother. It sounds like you have a super life even though Mommeh is gone now during the days. We have been looking into that raw feeding for some of the cats that have some allergies and it makes good sense since kitties used to live just on the wild things that they would catch. Thanks to Mommeh for going to the trouble of answering all the questions and it is far from boring.
Ohhh, that was interesting stuff! We're sorry you get so mad at Harley all the time, Daisy. He's such a cute kitty, he should be easy to get along with. Then again, we know how annoying cute little brothers can be (yeah, we're looking at you, Ziggy...).

Very interesting answers! Harley's kittenhood was sort of like ours, our Mom was pregnant when she came into rescue too, so she was spayed after we were born. (lucky for us!) Daisy we had no idea you were from a breeder. We would love to see photos of Pixie sometime.
That was interesting but you are a bit of a princess aren't you Daisy. There is always enough room on the bed for the two of you. Snuggle nice.

I think we learned a lot about your Mom and Dad and you and Harley. I would think a place like 1800petmeds would allow your Mom to bring you to work with her and so she could stroller you around on her dinner break.
It's cool to learn about you two and your family...it's like Good Housekeeping magazine invites us into the homes of the stars, like Marie Osmond or Tom Selleck.

Oh Daisy, we could neffur get bored reading about yoo and Harley. Yoo is furry lucky, our mom stopped working fur green papers but now she is bizzier den afore! Sometimes she leaves, come home, leaves, comes home...from morning until almost bedtime!
Hmmm, it seems like Harley does a lot of stuff that makes you mad. I understand. Younger siblings can be annoying sometimes.

I used to be a vice president in a bank too! But I retired because of a boo boo in my head.
Even with little time raising a puppy......which Mommy hasn't done since Luke was a puppy, 13 years ago, she helps us check up on you when we can blog. Most of the stuff about you two we knew. It's great that your pawrents have good jobs....Mommy said she expects to go in the bookstore someday, in the kids section and find a "How Daisy Does it" book, just for little girls! You know how much human girls love kitties, well, they would love to read how Daisy does it....dresses, food, hairstyles........and Mommy said she wants to buy the first book ....paw signed!!! =^Y^=

Our mommy works from home but when she goes out we miss her and she misses us so she understands how your mommy feels having to leave you at home. I think you and Grace have a LOT in common. She does not like having a brother or a sister in the house. She gets mad at Hobbes for trying to be friends, sleeping on the bed, wanting to play, or breathing. Grace just doesn't like the thought of sharing her mommeh with anyone.
Nice to hear about your mommeh and daddeh's jobs. I'm glad they are both working--tough to do in this economy.

Mom is thinking about getting me my own kitten. Mom wants a boy kitten, dad and Blizzie want a girl kitten.
I see it is kind of hard to be with another kitty all day. I think Harley is good for Daisy because she has to think about cooperating with Harley.
