More Proof that Lizards are BAD!!!

These are my lizard toys. I was having fun playing with them, when one of them came up to me and asked me for a RAISE! He demanded an extra day off, and a portion of my Temptations! And while I was busy negotiating with the green lizard (Howard), the yellow lizard (Frank) climbed on my back and tried to strangle me!!!! It is a very good thing that lizards have short arms or I might not be here to tell the tale.
I tried to reason with the little pink lizard (George), but it did not work...
So, finally I had to resort to drastic measures. I bited George, right in the head! Because he deserved it.
George ranned away screaming! And all the other lizards left, too.
I do not think they will bother me again. Nope.

  1. It sounds like they were trying to start a lizard union. It's a good thing you bit George or you may have had to throw vacation and retirement into the deal!

  2. Daisy those lizards sure are busy trying to hustle you. Lucky you are one smart girl!!

Glad to hear that Pixie is doing ok. My mum knows medical stuff but that sure was a lot of abbreviations. I am just pleased to hear her heart is still working.

  6. Wow, you are so lucky that they ran away, if they all joined hands they might be able to strangle you then.

  7. Too many lizards at once Daisy and the colours of some of them aren't natural. I have never seen those red lizards. They would have to live in the house only, as they wouldn't have good enough camouflage for the garden. Give them a good toss around and throw them here and there. Some time it pays to be tough, even for a gentle soul such as yourself.

  10. I don't believe I've ever heard the sound of a lizard screaming. But you did what you had to do. I've heard it's best not to negotiate with terrorist lizards.

  18. This was quite startling news Daisy. First off, we thought all lizards were named George. To find out that they have different names has now confused us. We need to take a nap now.

  19. Making demands is pretty bold for lizards, especially toy lizards. Maybe George will learn his lesson about harrassing you. Florida must have the rudest lizards in the whole world!

  66. Watch out for those lizards, Daisy. The next thing you know, they'll be demanding better health insurance or on-site child care. The way they reproduce, that could cost you a fortune!

  67. Great job combating those lizards Daisy. They sure do look fierce. Although I have never seen a yellow one before. Maybe I have something to look forward too.

We have purrs and prayers going up for Pixie. It's good that she take it easy with her naps. Like she said there are a lot of big words there but she says she is doing O.K. and that is good.

  69. Dear Daisy...

I think I know what happened to one of your BAD lizards. It even got written up in the news. I will quote part of the story for you below. (Too bad they don't tell us the color, so we could know which of your lizards this was, but I am hoping it was Frank.)

    "JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --

Seven-year-old Finley Collins thought her pet 12-inch bearded dragon might be giving birth when she noticed an unusual protrusion near the lizard's tail.

But Finley's father, Jeff Collins, feared it might be something more ominous and rushed Mushu to an animal hospital, where a veterinarian pulled out a 7-inch toy rubber lizard. "
