Photo Hunters: In Memory

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: in memory. This is a very sad one, but it is good to remember those that were important to us. So today, I am remembering my big sister Pixie, who had to go to the Rainbow Bridge on September 14, 2008.
Pixie, I miss you very much. You were a good big sister to me. And you were very brave, because you never complained about having hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and you always ate your medicines.
Here is Pixie when she was a little baby. Her heart was strong then!
And I will never forget how much Pixie loved bananers.
I had an idea that if I wore my Angel suit, maybe I could visit her at the Bridge. But it did not work. So I will just keep Pixie safely inside my heart.
Pixie, I will never forget you.

  30. Oh, I'm sorry that I did not know about Pixie and that you lost her. We lost our Henry to that in October, but we did not know that he had it until his tiny heart blew out one sunny afternoon. Maybe Hen and Pixie are together, hanging out by the birdfeeder next to the Bridge, watching the birdies and teeth-chattering together. I would like to think so.
