The Photo Hunters theme this week is: painted. I have painted some art before. It is a little bit fun. And the colors are real pretty.

Harley has also painted a few masterpieces. He prefers to work with watercolor paint pens.

Harley usually spends a lot of time worrying about the composition of his painting.

Then he asks for my advice after he has finished painting. I think he has good use of color, but he must work more on his style and brush control.

The truth is, I prefer sculpting with clay to painting.

You are both talented artists!
ReplyDeleteYou're both VERY creative! We love Harley's masterpiece! You could auction it on E-bay! (Picasso-cat!)
ReplyDeleteYou are both great artists. Wow! A painter and a sculptor in the same family.
ReplyDeleteSe Magnifique!
ReplyDeleteClay? Are you building a improved Mr. Shrill?
My first time on your blog. It's great that you know how to paint/color :)
ReplyDeleteDaisy and Harley ~ Your talents seem to be endless! And your attention to detail is quite amazing!
ReplyDeleteNo PAWS for wonderment on these works of art!!
ReplyDeleteMy 'PAINTED' is posted now. Hope you can join me at my blog today sometime. Have a great weekend.
Harley's use of colour is very good but why didn't you show us one of your paintings Daisy?
ReplyDeleteHuffle Mawson

This year's students, like last year's, are really big fans!
ReplyDeletegiven the temperament of many artists it's amazing you and harley can live in the same household. i think you oughta sculpt a banana in Pixie's memory.
ReplyDeleteYou are both very artistic. ~S,S,C & F

ReplyDeleteAre you painting today wath lovely:))
ReplyDeleteHave fun !!
I like pens too -- but only to knock off of tables and bat around on the floor. Oh yeah, and sometimes to chew on.
ReplyDeleteThat is so purrfect! I can't figure out the "painted" theme yet because I am still a little out of it, but this is great.
ReplyDeletePainting does look like fun...specially if I get to play with pens!
ReplyDeleteErnie
Efurry artist has their own medium (and I don't mean psychic)! Harley gives such attention to detail -- his work should hang in a gallery for all to see.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! You both are so talented!
ReplyDeleteHow do you manage to keep your furs so clean? :-)
You are both very talented painters. :) Does your Mommie hang them up on the fridge after you are done?
ReplyDeleteWell aren't you two the artsy duo...
ReplyDeleteyou are both very talented!

Pretty art work!
ReplyDeleteDaisy, you are both very talented. But is that Mr. Shrill's head you are playing with?
ReplyDeleteYou're both very talented artists! Harley definitely has a great eye for color
ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with your artistic talents. I'm pretty sure Pru would try to eat paint or clay, and Gus might just flop down on it. I guess that's a form of artistic expression.
ReplyDeleteYou should have an exhibition or even open your own gallery !
ReplyDeleteArt is very fun! I tryed to walk on the bed when D.R. was drawin a piksher on some paper. Wow, was she supryzed.
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't know you two were budding Picassos. You should sell your arts to raise moneys for your mommies shelter.
ReplyDeleteWe think you should auction off your masterpieces for those kitties of the CB who need green papers.
ReplyDeleteIs der anything da two of yoo can't do? Yoor both so talented.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful painting Harley did! You should definitely frame it. :)
ReplyDeleteHarleys style is like Picatso and Daisy could be Frida Kahtlo! You is both better artists then me thats fer shore.
ReplyDeleteYer pal Dozer
Furry fine works of art!
ReplyDeleteHugz&Khysses,
Khyra

ReplyDeleteNice fluid brushstrokes, Harley. You're a young Picatsso:)
ReplyDeleteyou're both very talented! (and so is your mommy for getting such fun pictures of you!)
ReplyDeleteSo talented. You both should have your own gallery exhibit.
ReplyDeleteSo Harley is the contemplative type, eh?

If only our cats were creative. We could sell the paintings and then live off of them for a change!
ReplyDeleteMine is up here.
Wow...I did not know cats could paint or play with clay.
ReplyDeletethat clay looks yummy.
You two are so artistic! You really should sell some of your paintings.

Such vision! Fine artists at their best!
ReplyDeleteYou are good at painting Harley! You must be real talented to hold the paintbrush with your teeth! Makes my mom want to go paint... now!! But not with her teeth!
ReplyDeleteOpss! Thanks for the birthday wishes to mom and my brother Sandusky!
ReplyDeleteVery nice artwork Daisy!
ReplyDeleteWow, Harley is quite the artist.
ReplyDeleteHarley, you could sell your paintings! Daisy, we would love to see an example of your painting, too. Do you paw-paint or brush-paint? We will definitely have to try watercolors.
ReplyDeleteTabby did a post today for the theme as well. She paw-painted last summer with fabric paint.
Harley has quite the aptitude for art!
ReplyDeleteYou two are so artistic! Charmee only manages to work with interior semi-gloss ... an' he paints with his tail an' feets ... Mom doesn't like it when he helps 'cuz that means that she has to clean up after him (an' he doesn't keep his "brushes" furry clean).
ReplyDeleteDMM
You two leave me breathless with your multi-talents! I have heard of and seen (on teevee) elephant art, which is awesome, but I've never seen cat art before! You rock! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteYou two are artists!
ReplyDeleteKisses and hugs
Lorenza

Wow!! That is cool that you and Harley can paint Daisy!! You both are very artistic!! Clay looks like more fun than PAINT though! Does it feel gooey on your paws?
ReplyDeleteYour FL furiends,
You've got some mad art skillz! We usually use mud and carpet/sofa as our medium and canvas! :D
ReplyDeleteWags,
Pruett and Daphne
Now there's talented cats! It reminds me of a book written some years back called "Why cats paint".
ReplyDeleteI think Harley does very well for his age. With practice, he'll get even better. But sculpting does look like more fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame yoo fur not being intristed in painting sinse thare isn't a singul pink color in yer paintbox!
ReplyDeleteI just have to say I really enjoy this blog a lot. All of the post are so entertaining and fun.
