Bert & Ernie's New Home

Bert and Ernie just got a new home! It is a 17 gallon frameless aquarium, so they have more room to run and play and have fun.
They both like to burrow. This stuff is called Carefresh Ultra litter. They cannot use our cat litter. I do not know why!
Here is a movie of Bert and Ernie the first few minutes in their bigger home. If you watch until the end, they do something a little bit funny!

    Are they digging to China???? That's something my mom says her parents used to say when she was digging in the sand.

    Oh, they ARE very cute! It looks like it snowed in their new home like it snowed here in Chicago last week!! Gees, that white stuff is DEEP!

    Is your mommeh gonna make Bert and Ernie wear clothes and model too? That I wanna see!

    Shadow, Michael's gerbil, just got a hi-rise topper...a metal attachment for the aquarium like a bottomless birdcage that has two platforms and climbing ramps. She is one happy little rodent! Bert and Ernie seem to like their new luxury digs as well.

    Bert and Ernie are soooo cute!! We loved their mirror image routine at the end of the movie! Mom had a friend who had a gerbil in college. The gerbil's name was Spaz.
