Leaf Me Alone!

A LEAF got into my house. On account of my Mommeh brought it inside. And guess what? A leaf is a pretty fun toy and makes a wacky skittery sound.
Here is a movie of me playing with the leaf. Until I got bored with it.

  1. A leaf is a lot of fun. We like to play with them in the garden. When we are locked up when the Beans go on holiday, we get extra excited if one blows in when the door gets opened. You were having a wonderful time with it Daisy.

  2. That does look like fun and I especially love the way you make special time for cleaning and ear scratching in between leaf chasing Daisy.

  7. You're such a cute little jumping thing, Daisy. Seems to me like your human was doing most of the work! Don't worry, I can be the same way. Unless the human moves it for me, I lose interest.

  12. And if it had been a fresh leaf it wouldn't have made that fun noise but you could have eaten it!

  17. We like leafs, too but usually eat them and yak them up later. Teri, worry-wart that she is, is afraid we'll catch some disease or parasite from eating a contaminated leaf, though (you know, one that a bird pooped on or something)...

  31. Oh Daisy! Muesli would have loved that! She loves anything that makes that sort of scratchy, scrunchy sound - her eyes go all sort of weird & dilated - and she just goes a bit 'Cracker Kitty'!!! :-) What my human does is she puts her fingers near the thing and 'flicks' it (you know, like 3rd finger to thumb and then flick out) - that makes the thing shoot across the floor...and Muesli after it! Hee! Hee!

  33. That was actually a pretty cool leaf! But yeah, I could tell when you started scratching that the game was over. I have no idea why humans don't get that signal.

  36. Your leaf looked like a lot of fun until you got bored with it Daisy! It helps to have your mommeh drop it from the sky since just laying there it is pretty dull huh?

  37. ooo that does look fun. my beans haven't been outside enough to bring me fun things like that. maybe once the weather gets warmer. it is important to look good when playing. Nice grooming break.

PS Harley, what happened to the ant is probably for the best. You probably don't know ants only go to picnics so they can eat our foods!
