Bert & Ernie Get a Car!

Now that Bert and Ernie are over 16 (weeks), they decided they would like to get a car. Since they only have $2.98, they had to settle for this cardboard truck. They still did a good inspection before buying. Ernie is looking under the hood, but Bert just wants to check out the back.
Ernie is a proud new owner! Too bad he cannot afford insurance, since this car is sure to get chewed up.
And based on the damage to the body, it may have been in an earlier accident!
Wheeee! Bert and Ernie enjoy riding in the back. I hope they do not get a ticket for driving without a driver...

  32. Oh my goodness, those pictures of Bert & Ernie in the car are just divine!!!

Oh, Daisy - guess what? Muesli got her first outfit yesterday! Well, actually, it was for a Chihuahua doggie - see, what happened was my humans are worried about Muesli being cold at night (we're going into winter now and it can get down to 7degree at night) and so they were wondering if they could get fleecy pj's for Muesli, like the ones they have for me. Well, the pet stores don't usually sell kitty clothing so they ended up getting the smallest doggie thing they could find!

Muesli was actually pretty good about having it put on (God, Lemon would have ripped them to shreds for even trying!) but then she just seemed to go all funny! Like she kept toppling over as she tried to walk and couldnt' climb up properly and kept staggering around...were you like that when you first started wearing clothes? My humans got worried about her so they took it off again. Anyway, it didn't fit very well and her paws kept coming out of the arm holes and then getting stuck in the neck hole, because they were too big! :-)

So my humans thought maybe they need to find proper kitty clothes for her - and they found this great website called TheSophisticatedCat.com which sells all sorts of kitty outfits...so they have ordered a pair of pj's from there for her.

Where do you get your clothes from? Do you think Muesli will do better when she gets clothes that were actually designed for cats?

  34. That is a cute truck - just their size! Mommy works for Progressive Insurance, but she does not think that they sell insurance on cardboard trucks.
