I used to have a little anole lizard when I was in college. Once, he did something to his tail and it was about to break off. I knew it took a long time to grow back, so I just put a little bandaid on there until it healed. Waalaa! He never lost his tail and it mended perfectly!! :) Hooray!
Well almost Harley. You are an excellent hunter, just too bad those darn lizards drop their tails. Funny looking coffee sticks. Take care and have a great week.
Lizards definitely keep the game of "Lizard Chase" interesting don't they Harley?! I wonder where Ms. Lizard gets her hair done... the critters in The Cottage
We loves your funnies! Mommy laff-N-laff every Monday morning. The band-aid on the escaped lizard is too cute. Good Job Harley, tis a fine collection of swizzle-sticks!
I love all the geckos outside, but admit that the dropped-yet-still-wriggling tail trick gives me the willies! I was doing some yard work last fall and thought I noticed a caterpillar or something in the weeds, but it turned out to be a writhing tail, all by itself. I guess I must have frightened someone with my rake, but I never saw them, just the leftover evidence.
Looks like some very close lizard shaves to us!
ReplyDeleteMOL, Harley, I don't think my human would be stirring her coffee with THOSE sticks!
ReplyDeleteHarley, Good Collections !

ReplyDeleteIs this for real? Do lizards really do that? I wouldn't know. The only lizards I chase are through the glass.
ReplyDeleteHey, at least they grow back, right?
