  7. Is this for real? Do lizards really do that? I wouldn't know. The only lizards I chase are through the glass.

  8. Hey, at least they grow back, right?

I used to have a little anole lizard when I was in college. Once, he did something to his tail and it was about to break off. I knew it took a long time to grow back, so I just put a little bandaid on there until it healed. Waalaa! He never lost his tail and it mended perfectly!! :) Hooray!

  42. Oh my gosh!!!! Harley, you're collecting them?!

We love lizards and geckos. But geckos can't drop their tail so they pretend to be dead until Daddy rescues them and takes them outside!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Oh you like coffee too Harley? I brew a mean espresso!

    Your buddy Cloon

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL! @ the lizards

we have house geckos here too, but thankfully i haven't found any tails lying around.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love all the geckos outside, but admit that the dropped-yet-still-wriggling tail trick gives me the willies! I was doing some yard work last fall and thought I noticed a caterpillar or something in the weeds, but it turned out to be a writhing tail, all by itself. I guess I must have frightened someone with my rake, but I never saw them, just the leftover evidence.

  48. Yikes!! I hope they grow back quickly!
