Harley, I am not usually still awake for fireworks anymore but back in the olden days when I was, the farther away I was the better I liked it, honey pie!
They are kinda boring, but fun to do....with supervision, of course.
Our neighbor used to buy these little fireworks for me and Emma to watch. They were little discs that would spin around and make noise like crazy, then...when that was all done...a little Chinese pagoda would pop up. It was hilarious! So, anti-climactic, but adorable.
Those are my kind of fireworks--the not-so-loud kind.
Your list brought back some memories for our mum. Where she grew up, people could buy fireworks for Guy Fawkes Night. Bottle Rockets and Roman Candles were two of her favourites. But given she nearly burned down the fence with a Catherine Wheel one year, we think Daisy is being very wise.
Daisy is right, those are pretty dangerous for you to use, Harley! It's so dry here in Colorado that fireworks will probably be banned! We'll have to watch them on TV instead :)
Well Harley I have to agree the snakes are pretty boring but the other stuff could get a little dangerous. Maybe you should let a professional handle those for you
H - we have to agree with you big little sister. You should stay away from the fireworks, and watch from a distance. We LOVE your big surprised eyes.
