More Décor

This is my new microfiber sofa. Notice anything interesting about it? Yes, another instance of the decor matching my fur!

I kind of like this new sofa because it gives me a good vantage point from which to view the artwork. And microfiber is not good for scratching up.
Here is a secret though: when this sofa was less than a week old, I stepped in something dirty (Harley's poop) and tracked it onto the sofa. I did not get in trouble though, on account if it was really Harley's fault.

  1. Nothing like a bit of poop on the new sofa. Nice work team. Luckily your mom didn't buy a white sofa.

  2. Microfiber is a great material for kitties because it is comfy but no fun to scratch (that's teh great for humans bit...).

  3. Daisy, we kitties were so bummed when our sofa arrived a few years ago and it was covered in microfiber! None of us wanted to scratch on it at all. It is good to lay on, though. We've never tried the poop trick, but now that you've brought it up....

  6. What was Harley doing putting his poop where you would step in it, anyhow?

  7. Well glad you didn't get in trouble about stepping in Harley's poop. Silly boy, putting his poop in the wrong place. Love the picture of you admiring the art work. Take care all of you.

  9. My Maddie enjoys napping on the microfiber chair here in our home. I think it may be her favorite spot. But we have an agreement not to drag poop onto the furniture.

  10. You're right, Daisy, that was Harley's fault.

When we got a new sofa, about a month or so after, I yakked on it. The mom was not happy about that...but it did clean up good.

  22. Very nice sofa, even if it's no fun to scratch it. If he were a gentlecat, Harley wouldn't have pooped on your way...

  23. That is a very nice sofa and so convenient for art viewing. Why did you step in Harley's poop?

  24. How did you prove it was Harley's poop?

  25. That is so cool your mom is decorating with you in mind!

  26. How nice of your humans to match the sofa to your furs.

  27. Good thing your Mommeh bought a GRAY sofa, and not a white one, right Daisy? That would have matched your furs, too, but that Harley poop might have been harder to get out!

  28. The Male has been looking for a new sofa and we have been wondering about microfiber. So you don't like scratching on it?

    ReplyDelete
  29. We did not know that about microfiber. And Harley's poop....well.....ish.

  30. Isn't everything Harley's fault? If it isn't that way, it should be. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  31. We can't believe Harley left his poop around where you could step in it.

  32. We have a couch made of the same stuff and I really like it. My furs stick to it like crazy and the people can't get them vacuumed up very well, so anyone who sits there takes a bunch of ME with them when they get up! It's awesome!

  33. I love microfiber for scratching! The PM thought she fooled me by getting a microfiber covered recliner. But I'm doing a really good job scratching it! Once you get used to the feel,it's great! But Harley, really, did he get hit on the head when he was a kitten? Leaving poop where it can be tracked on the sofa? PT.

  34. We do has a microfiber couch too! But we couch do be brown!

It do not be so good for scratching but it do be very comfy for cuddling with He and She.
