Ah, there's nothing like a good scratch first thing in the morning.
It feels soooo good!
Oh noes, I sense my Good Time is about to be ruined...

Harley needs to go to etiquette school! If you sent him here, I am sure he would get a few lessons!
ReplyDeleteSometimes two of us scratch at the same time....other times it ends in a smackdown!!

That scratching post looks big enough for both of you. We think you should learn to share, Daisy.
ReplyDeleteOur big cat tree has two scratching posts for synchronized scratching. We'll have to try the scratch off. Good idea!
ReplyDeleteThat darn Harley has to butt into all your stuff Daisy. He is such a silly boy. Hope all of you have a great day.
ReplyDeleteI get to climb trees and scratch the outdoor furniture. You two are good sharing the scratcher.
ReplyDeleteRemember, you two: "Sharing is caring."
ReplyDeleteDaisy, Harley is just like Ernie...always butting in where he isn't invited!
ReplyDeleteAww, shucks. Maybe u can scratch one after the other? :)
ReplyDeleteHarley just wants to do it because you were, and he knows whatever Daisy does is cool.

maybe it would help to start your scritching even earlier in the morning.
ReplyDeleteMaybe your breath! What did you have for breakfast? Harley, if you joined Cat Scouts, you could work of some of your pent up energy earning badges. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Fiona, Giulietta, Lisbeth, Astrid and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteThat is one happy scratchy-face you have in that second photo, Daisy! My husband gets the same look on his face when I scratch his back.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very handsome cat tree, Daisy. But you're right. Everyone should have their turn.
ReplyDeletePoor Daisy
ReplyDeletePoor Daisy. Sorry Harley ruined your good time (again).
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I don't need to share my scratching post with anyone, that would be so annoying. May the force be with you.

We at CatSynth agree. Luna doesn't have to "scratch off" with other cats, but she does put on a display with her scratchers when unfamiliar humans visit.
