Sunday Comics with Daisy!

Fireworks are still going off! It is safest to stay under the bed until they are over.

It is impossible to stay safe and sane with Snail around.

  15. Hi Daisy!
Sorry that the fireworks for my 5th anniversary Gotcha Day celebration were too scary. It was so foggy and rainy here in NYC, all we could see was colored haze. But we could still hear them! I just turned the TV up loud so Mica wouldn't be scared.

    Your pal,

    Petey

  16. Daisy, maybe you should have sent George Lizard. I like to hide in the bathroom when there are loud noises.

  17. Hahaha that is very funny, Daisy. We still have people setting off fireworks at night. Thankfully, they don't bother me. Or Lucky.

  39. I hope all of the noise crackers are finished around your house. We have had two days of the noise and I am tired of it. Loved the comic.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Too bad it wasn't George under the bed with you. I'm sure he would have moved a lot faster.

I JUST heard another boomie. Yikes! I thought they were over! It's 12:30 pm on July 6. What are those kids thinking? I think they need a calendar.

    ReplyDelete

  54. Daisy of all the friends you have had mommy likes snail the very best! When she was a little girl in Germany, she played with snails too. They had brown and white striped shells and some were pale yellow and others pale orange....very nice snails but slimmy...

    ReplyDelete
  55. Snail was so eager, Daisy, just too slow and you needed to know, fast.

  56. I'm sure that by the time Snail had gotten to the window to check for the all-clear, it would have been New Year's Eve-another Fire-Cacklin' Day!

  65. That may be true, Daisy, but he's a good friend. Not all friends would sacrifice themselves to see if the fireworks were done yet. I think being a good friend is more important than being speedy :-)

  67. Goodness, you had firworks still going off two days later. Actually I have never seen any fireworks or heard the boom boom noise that Mom talks about. Fireworks are not allowed out here where we are. To much of a fire danger. Loved your Sunday comic. Your Mom and you are so clever with them.
