Awww it is nice that you missed your mom and at least she can get some privacy. Is it weird to tell you, that because my mum lives alone, she goes to the bathroom with the door open, so that I can visit with her anytime.
It is important for us kitties to keep track of our humans ALL the time! But what I really hate is when my human uses the porcelain litter box at the same time I am using my litter box - ahem, some privacy, please!
oh too bad Aswell do not be at you house, Harley! He do liked to open She's bathroom door even when She do closed it good cuz She do not liked to give Aswell pets when She do go in She's bathroom but he do liked to climb in She's pants to get up for She to give he pets.

this is "classic paw under the door"....have seen it many times! Mostly with my Angel Bobo because with Cody I just leave the door open (Cody and I "share" a bathroom) lol
Yes, it seems that Mom's are not allowed to go to the bathroom unaccompanied. The same happens here with either the paw under the door, or Dante howling outside it for me to come out.
Look at it this way, Mom -- at least you know you're wanted.

Awww Scout does that too! Then mom or dad plays "paw under the door" with him. They put their fingers or toes under just like that so Scout can play with them on the other side.
How rude of the Mom to shut you out like that, Harley. My Mom lives alone and she leaves the door open for us. She learned to do that because I started raising a ruckus when she closed it.
