A LIZARD!!!!
I promised that I would post a picture of the next lizard in my house, and here he is! He looks very big, but he is only about one inch long. I did not get to play with him, because he was on the ceiling. See, he still has his tail. Mommie had to stand on this speaker to take his picture, and she almost fell!
"Speaking" of "speakers", here is a funny story about me. Once I was horsing around, and while running at top speed, I jumped onto this speaker. Since I cannot stop on a dime, I skidded off, and the speaker came crashing down. I was fine. But the plugs in the back of the speaker broked off! That was another time Mommie said "Daisy, NO-NO!" And she was not laughing when she said it.
Professor Daisy's Tip for Cats: Do not horse around on top of speakers. Unless they are built-in speakers. Then it is ok.

I can just picture you skidding off the speaker! I've fallen off the bed a couple of times because I've been going at full speed and couldn't stop by the time I hit the edge of the bed.
Now that looks very interesting. And you say those things move on their own and you can bite their tails off? Very interesting.
And about that speaker mishap. Humans get so jerked out of shape over the littlest things! Jeesh.
That was a cool lizard!! THe Mom that Lives Here is going to Florida in May...maybe she will bring us back lizards!!

I never bites their tails off... they just fall off if you play too hard with them. Then, they can grow a new tail.
So far, my tail has never done that.
Hi Daisy! Sorry we deleted our comment. We tried to post some links to our archives that have pictures of our lizard, Mystery, but they were too long. The pictures are in February, June and July. We'll try to get Mom to post more pictures of her, but like we said, the beans are purrty slow at gettin' pictures up.
Mystery is about 5 feet long, so we mostly leave her alone!

We've never had a lizard on the ceiling - that would drive me crazy trying to get up there!

our Lady hadded a cat that wuzzn't us an he did the same thing wif the speaker, 'cept the sides split an it all falled apart, but that was cause it fell frum hi up.

That's furry good advice...our momma put some other stuff on our speakers so tht we would not be tempted again! BTW - we loves your headband!
Aw too bad you didn't get to play wif the leezard. You should also put a tip for humans owned by cats not to stand on the speekers maybe. I likes yer tips :)
