How Does THAT Work?: ToolBelt Edition

Today I am BACK with a SPECIAL edition of How Does THAT Work?!? Because this is the TOOLBELT edition!
I will EXPLAIN what happens when WATER drips from your CEILING! First they cut a HOLE in your ceiling. Then LOUD and BAD fans blow DAY and NIGHT for a very LONG time until everything is DRIED up.
Then MEN come into your HOUSE and RIP your SHOWER all APART! This causes lots of NOISE, too. Since there is LOTS of DUST and DIRT, you will have a PLASTIC CURTAIN dividing that room from the REST of your house. You are NOT SUPPOSED to sneak in through the CURTAIN.
After all the MESS is removed, if there is MORE WATER, then a CARPENTER comes to replace the FLOOR!
Then stuff starts getting put back TOGETHER. But you still cannot USE the shower. This is about THREE weeks later. Once they pour CEMENT over this, you are also NOT SUPPOSED to stick your paw in it. Ooopsie.
I PICKED the very BEST tiles I could to MATCH the EXISTING tiles.
And FINALLY, the shower is FIXED back UP! Come on INSIDE Daisy, I will SHOW you around!

Harley, you are such a MAN. I don' think I would've known how to fix the shower problem, but you sure did! I bet all the lady cats flock to you, dude.

Lin said...

Oooh, they did a nice job--but what a MESS! Not to mention how loud and expensive I'm sure it all was. I can see that Daisy is sorta skerred going near that snappy new shower--it must have been a very long 3 weeks.

I think I'm gonna marry Bob Villa next time 'round. Your mom is lucky to have you, Harley, and your toolbelt!

Thank goodness you were on hand to direct the builders Harley - what would your mommy and daddy have done without you. We bet Daisy was very impressed with the new shower that you installed.

Now that I know how that works I shall think twice before having a new shower put in. Yours is really nice tho...

That was unfair that you could not sneak in under the curtain to look how they worked. And why not a cat paw in the cement? It could have been your walk of fame. :)

Shaggy and Scout said...

Hooray it's done!
Our daddy ripped out the basement bathroom down to the studs because it was nasty and our new one is just about done too. He is ready to do the cement under the shower pan next.
But its not an inconvenience to anybody because its a bathroom no one really uses.
