Harley is a Lazy Player
We got this super-cool new toy called a "Peek-a-Prize Toy Box." It says it "Encourages the Mental and Physical Stimulation of Cats." As you will see, it did not encourage the Harleymaniac's stimulation. Already he seems bewildered by this fancy toy!
So I got right to work playing. I LOVE this toy. It has lots of holes to poke your paws into to retrieve the toys inside. We started off with the two balls that were included with the toy. Look how lazy Harley is! He's just lounging around watching me.
And now he's trying to interfere with me! Harley, keep your paws to yourself!
Finally, my Mommeh figured out how to get Harley into the game. She used one of his favorite mousie toys and he suddenly got very interested!

One of my sisterdears sent that very toy to the Gs. Gandalf, Gracie and Whitey initially showed some mild interest. Then Gandalf peed on it. Then it went in the trash. Truth.
We have a toy like that, and the only way to get Binga interested is to toss a treat in it - then she goes NUTS!
We've got that toy too...and like Sparkle, the mom puts treats in it to get us to pay any attention to it.
Oh Silly Harley. Good job getting Mommeh, to get out that mouse. That was what you were waiting for. That does look like a great toy. Two Two would love that one.

Some are doers and some are watchers and some just want what they want…like a little pink mouse. Daisy, we want to know what you think of that toy in about a month. Our humans continue to buy us interactive toys. We'll play with them for a few weeks, then get bored and ignore them. That's how Hobbes plays too--he just lays there watching ME do all the work. He's very good at napping though--is Harley good at napping too?
