About Cameras!
Hi, kitties! Why do I look crabilated? I do not know. I guess that is my natural expression. Let's talk about cameras today!
This is my Mommeh's regular camera for taking pictures of me and the Harley Quinn. It is the Canon Rebel XTi, and she has had it for a long time. It looks like this:
My Mommeh recently decided to trade in her smart phone for a dumb phone. But that meant she didn't have an easy way to share photos for me when she is away from the computer. So she got this new camera! It is called a Samsung DV300F. It has built-in WiFi, so we can share pictures directly to Facebook.
It has some neat features built-in like split screen photos, special effects and this is called a "motion" photo. Just select "motion" and press the button! Then select the part you want to animate, and size the field you are animating and voila! Here is what the animated photo looks like:
Harley wanted to be animated, too!
If you can't see the animations, you can click here to see mine!
What camera do you use?
38 Notes for Daisy:
Miss Daisy, you look really hip and cool. Like you're listening to a rap tune. I wanna hang out with YOU!
Daisy, my dear—you do not look crabilated. You're a diva and Harley is a prince. You guys have so much fun over there, don't you?
WOWZA! What a camera! (Love seeing animatey yous!) And as for that initial snap of you, I can relate: I had to have my picture taken for my driver's license renewal on Tuesday and, as required by DMV regulations, the photographer directed me to "Crabilate!" instead of "Smile!" when he took the shot.
Wow, that is one fancy camera. What fun. Love the motion pictures. Daisy is saying yes and Harley is saying No. Hope all have a great day.
That is a cool camera, Daisy. We like those animations! Our mom uses a Canon Sureshot, because she needs something that is foolproof...a point and shooter. She's not a very good photographer though.
Cool camera!
Though I thought Harley Quinn didn't really need any help in thre animation department!
That is a very clever camera Daisy and it looks like you are listening to the radio. We don't think you look crabilated.
Oh...oh... that's a cool camera, but you two are making me a little seasick. Gotta go.....
Have a great day.
pawhugs, Max
That looks a great camera that your Mom bought - our Mum is not very technical and all she can do is point and click!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Now that is some camera. I'll bet it's hard to learn - M could never handle that. he he - she's techno disadvantaged.
Wow Daisy that's SOOO cool! MomKatt needs one of those too!
PURRS!
Selina
that's cool. now if it could only add appropriate background music.
Daisy and Harley...mom LOVES what your mom has bought to show you two off. xoxoxo
very cool! Is that super expensive? I am not as technologically savvy as you. I use my Android then I go into various sites to try and fix the photos.
our the mom cannot handle the easy camera she has now
Whoa! That's COOL!!!!!
Glogirly is drooling with ideas now!!!
...and Gloman is REALLY going to be rolling his eyes now!
Thankx for the great info!
Katie
WOW , what a cool camera your mom got !
I hope there is built in WIFI in that camera I have the chance to win !
We love your animations!!! Mom needs to look into that camera!! Mom uses a Nikon L120 and Dad has a Nikon D90. Mom also has a small Nikon that she can keep in her purse!
The Florida Furkids
Awesome!
We think she should still take photos of Harley on the Rebel, because the name fits him.
How cool is that?! And our human doesn't even know how to use the camera on her smart phone. She mostly uses it to check email away from the computer!
That new camera is way cool!
Wow! Is that ever cool!!! I'll have to ask for one of those for my next birthday.
You two are already animated even when you don't move -- I think it's your PURRiceless exPURRessions. But now you are twice as moving!
Your readers win!!!!! New photos coming soon!!!
Lovely!
That camera has some neat features! I use a Canon PowerShot. It's an awesome camera, but I would love to get a DSLR at some point.
That is so cool! Your Mom is quite the expert on camera stuff!
Luf, Us
Those animated photos are cool! My human is learning how to create them in Photoshop but your way sounds SO much easier! To take photos of us, my human usually uses her Sony DSC-HX1, ALWAYS on manual. It is a very lightweight camera, which makes it easy to hold still in low light situations. Lately she has also been using her (semi) new iPhone 4s too - it is as good a camera as her first digital was... maybe better!
Very cool. I have the same main camera as your Mommeh
Those animated photos are cool! Sounds like a great camera :) I only have the camera on my iPhone4. It works pretty well, as long as I have enough light!
Wowsers ! You two look like those bobbing cats and dogs that people used to hang in their cars in the seventies! Only cooler of course....heehee
the critters in The Cottage xo
I loved your animated photos! Mommy said they were a teenie bit creepy since they reminded her of portraits hanging in haunted houses with eyes that follow you wherever you go. I've never been to one... although I think our house is haunted sometimes. Mommy uses an iPhone 4s to take pictures of me. We think it works pretty well...especially since she actually remembers to charge that. Her cybershot hasn't been charged for 2 years since she lost the charger.
Cool Daisy!!!
That Samsung is a neat camera :o
The features sound neat as well!!!
Love the animation,heehee
Purrs Tillie and Georgia,

My mom has an old HP one.... it needs to be replaced ASAP!

We just have a slow dumb digital camera that has ta huff an puff fer many seconds afore takin another flashie picture!
Which is fine by US!
That's awesome! I would like to upgrade to a really nice camera one day... Until then, if I want nice pictures, I have to get my daughter to use hers!
