Harley Goes Strollering!

It's HARLEY'S turn to go STROLLERING! Hooray for ME! Usually I am a little nervous in the stroller, so I started out all snug in my SLEEPING BAG. It is very HOT in south Florida, so we left right at DAWN.
I turned on my LASER BEAMS so I could help LIGHT the way. Can you SEE me?
Here I can PROVE that I OBEY the rules of the road. This sign means you must STOP!
Here is my FAVORITE spot. It is a WETLAND PRESERVE.
Here is a better picture of the WETLANDS. My stroller CANNOT go in there.
Now I am much more RELAXED inside.
Sadly, my stroll has ENDED. I am waiting for my WHEELS to get cleaned off before I can go INSIDE the house. Because I am a CLEAN cat.

Thursday Thirteen, Edition #26

Here are 13 things I love about my stroller:

  1. It has all-terrain wheels so I can go off-road.
  2. My stroller takes me on many fun adventures.
  3. I have seen interesting things from my stroller like: worms, dog-vomit fungus, monster trucks, armadillos, dogs, dragonflies, birds, and lakes.
  4. I am safe from alligators when I am inside my stroller.
  5. It can go fast!
  6. My stroller is a pretty color (even though I wish it was pink.)
  7. It has a handy pouch on the bottom for carrying my supplies. So far, we have not carried a supply of Temptations in the stroller.
  8. It has a strong brake so I don't roll into the water. I am pretty sure it is a high-performance Brembo brake.
  9. My stroller has very large mesh windows for ventilation. I can smell the outdoors!
  10. It folds up for easy storage. I do not really care about that.
  11. It has an air-bag for safety in case of a crash. What? Oh. My Mommie says it does not have an air-bag. Never mind.
  12. My sleeping bag fits right inside the cabin. If I get cold or scairt, I just climb into my sleeping bag and I am SAFE.
  13. It is mine!

Sleepy Sunday

I love to sleep in my stroller, especially right after I have been out strollering. My stroller is perfect for napping because it has my soft pink sleeping bag, and my catnip heart. I like to dream about Skeezix. A long day of strollering can make a girl sleepy!
Pixie sometimes likes to sleep on top of the sofa. I think she might be dreaming about Icon!
After napping, it is good to do some grooming!
That black fuzzy thing is a pillow. In case you were wondering.

Monster Trucks and Lakes

We strolled by the lake again this week to check out the progress. The Monster Trucks are still there. The hole for the lake keeps getting bigger! It rained a little this week, so some water got inside the hole too. And look, they put up a safety barricade. I think they might have seen me in my stroller getting too close to the big hole. Strollering can be risky.
This is another lake that is being built. Here you can see a different kind of Monster Truck that makes lakes, too. It has a long arm with a big mouth that hangs off the end. The mouth drops into the water, and scoops up lots of dirt and spits it out on the side. Then, you can play in the very big dirt pile.

And look, I saw George the woodpecker again! He is with a friend, and they are peck-peck-pecking at this tree. I asked George what his friend's name was, and he introduced me to Woody. I don't think this is the same Woody Woodpecker from the cartoons though. Do you see both of them?

Professor Daisy's Tip for Cats: If you play around Monster Trucks, you must be very careful. Or you could get hurt. Badly.

Look at this bird!

I saw this bird in my backyard. He caught himself a fish from the lake!! If you biggify, you can see the fish that got speared on his BEAK! The fish was shaking and shaking to get FREE! But the bird would not let him go. I guess it is better to get eaten by a giant bird than by an alligator. Aaaahhhhhhhhhh! I am staying away from the water. Because I do not want to get eaten alive. Of course, if I am in my stroller I would be SAFE.

That duck in the background is one of those fake birds I told you about.

Strolling Adventures: How to build a LAKE!

Going out in your stroller can be fun and educational! For example, on this trip, I learned how to build a lake.
See, first you gather up lots of very big trucks. But do not get too close to them, because they could SMASH UP your stroller.
Then, you tell the trucks to dig a very big hole. Even bigger than you would dig to cover your poopies in the litter box.
Look, I went right to the very edge of the yawning chasm! And I SURVIVED! Because the brakes were on.
I do not know the next step, because the lake is not done yet. Maybe you just wait for rain.

Professor Daisy's tip for cats: Building a lake is hard.

Bonus: Since today is also Movie Monday, click HERE to see one of my very favorite videos. This is a cat who REALLY knows how to talk The first time I saw it, I watched the video, well, twenty-three times! Really? Really? Really? Really? Really?......

Rubbernecking Sightseeing

My Mommie usually takes me out in my stroller about three times a week. I am always craning my neck looking at all of the interesting sights. Lately, I have been hoping I might see Skeezix out in his stroller, but no luck yet. I think we might need to go on a little bit longer stroll to get to Skeezix's house. So far, I have never strolled far enough to get to a different time zone.
You never know what you might see from your stroller. For example, look at this stuff I saw this week! Do you know what it is? It is called "Dog Vomit Fungus." It is not really vomit though. It is a kind of slime mold. Yeck! Do not try to eat this. Sometimes I see better things. Like these pretty birds getting a drink of water. I wanted to chase them, but I was locked into my stroller for safety. If you biggify this picture, you can see one sticking his beak in the water! This is the TPC golf course where they used to hold the Honda Classic.
And here is a dragonfly I saw. He was BIG. I asked him his name, but he wouldn't answer. He might not have been alive. I wanted to poke him with a stick to make sure, but I couldn't reach him from the stroller. Even with a long stick. I tried throwing that little twig at him instead, but I missed. I wonder what Skeezix is doing today....... ::sighs::

Photo Hunters #5: BROKEN

The theme of the Photo Hunt this week is broken. Here is a picture of a worm that I accidentally ran over with my stroller. I think I might have broken him. But he is still moving a little, so maybe he is not completely broken. I am sorry Mr. Worm, it was a mistake. A bad mistake. But it was partly his fault; he should have looked both ways before crossing.
I'll bet you thought I was going to say my stroller got broken! Do not worry, my stroller is SAFE!
ps: I am not a hit-and-run driver. I went back to see if the worm was ok. But I do not know any worm first aid yet.

Wacky Wednesday: Strollin', strollin', strollin'....

I love to go in my stroller. My Mommie usually takes me on a 3-mile stroll around my neighborhood. We have to start early in the morning before it gets too hot and humid.
Here is a woodpecker that I saw on my stroll. I do not know his name. So, I will call him George.
This is a close-up of George.
When I am in my stroller, I like to rubberneck at all of the interestin' sights. Sometimes my eyes get really ROUND when I see something I like.
The western edge of the development where I live borders on the everglades. Here you can see the edge of the actual everglades!

After strolling, my Mommie leaves the stroller open so I can nap inside. See how relaxed I am apres-stroll? Belly-up, feets in the air, big smile on my face! Then it is Pixie's turn.

Professor Daisy's Tip for Cats:
Ask your Mommie and Daddie for a stroller. You will have FUN!
