Wacky Wednesday: Meet my Peeps!

I love Easter time, because the Peeps come out!
Hello, Peeps! Nice to eat you.... I mean meet you!
ps: I didn't really get to eat a Peep. I just got to lick his face for a minute. OK, I also ate his beak off.

Please excuse my antipodean ignorance, but what are peeps? I mean, I think that they're sugary yellowy spring/Easter treats that look like birdies, but am I right? We don't get them down here. Hey, imagine if you could get real birdies in packets like that!

Icon Baxter Bentley said...

MOL you are cute as ever, Daisy! Did the sugar get sticky on your fur? (that happened to Kitty once)

Hmmm...to answer Jeter Harris, we doesn't know if Peeps is on the "good" or "bad" food list...but they is full of sugar and other stuff that will outlast a nuclear blast.

Here is a site where you can see Peeps jousting:

She was singin' "first you bite the butt, then you bite the beek". I think the sugar was too much for her.

The Food Lady sez they haven't akshully manyufakcherd any noo Peeps since 1954. They just made one ginormous batch way back then and have bin selling them ever since, and win the planit is blone up by a nookyuler hollowcost, only cockroches and peeps will be left.

I had to look at theeze fotos for like, 20 minits beefore I saw the Peeps, cuz I was lookin at yer tummy!

Bad Kitty Cats & Megan said...

Hi Daisy, Peeps scare our human. They always got stuck in the Snot Faced Mad Child's curly hair somehow. Maggie likes the Cadburry Eggs, but she steals them and doesn't ask. The roll around and are great for batting practice. We think Skeezix's Food Lady is right. One big batch.

You look very adorable and that peep didn't need his beak anyway. Sending love love and purrs!

Artsy Catsy said...

Yep, it's that peep-munching time of year! Actually, Daisy, I prefer batting them around the house to see if I get one to stick to a wall or a human leg or something! You ever try that?
