Pixie meets a lizard!

Here is a little lizard that Pixie met. He was hard to play with because he was on the other side of the glass wall. But he kept teasing her!
And when Pixie tried to introduce herself, he would not even shake her hand. I told Pixie that his name is probably George.

Very cool that Pixie met a lizard! Not very nice of the lizard not to shake Pixie's hand, though. Maybe he was afraid of his tail falling off?

Has Pixie forgiven you for the April Fool's joke you played on her?

How interesting for Daisy ! My very first cat Piccola once catched a lizzard in Italy (here we don't have any) and then she was VERY disappointed when the lizzard ran away leaving his tail in her mouth !

Well, coming from the South I can tell you that lizards are actually very nice. I bet George was intimidated by how gianormous Pixie is! Of course to us, she's regular size but to lizards, they think we're lions! Tell Pixie that it was a compliment that George didn't run away. He probably thought she was beautiful!

Yeah, I wanna know about the prank, too.

Pixie looks very interested in George and Georgie looks interested in Pix. You know what? I think they are secretly friends and just did not tell you. Pixie has had some discussions with the alligator and the duckies too. She just seems very cool and friendly. Caesar is like that.

I know Pixie forgave you for the trick because she was probably laughing so hard after she said "oops..."

Have a happy day Daisy <3

George really gets around! Either that or he has a lot of relatives with the same name.

Lizards (skinks) are my favourite thing to play with. Lynettea doesn't like me playing with them. Sometimes she has picked me up and shaken me to make me drop them. The lizards usually drop their tails.
You find them usually lurking in dark shadowy places like bushes, so you need to prod at the bushes and plants around twilight is a good time.

George could use a few lessons in manners. I'd like to be the one to teach him. (I'd be nice.)

Pity that the lizard was not furiendly.

I once purrplayed with a lizard who juz wanted to go home. Suddenly his tail came off and I thot I had hurted it. But my Foster Mommy assured me that he was okay. Phew...

Maybe it's a good thing that Pixie didn't shake the lizards hand. We tried that here, and the lizard lost it's tail. It was OK, but very scared!

Around Your Wrist said...

you're so polite, pixie! he was very rude to not extend his own hand in greeting.

Oh, will you send us a lizard too!?!? p-p-please!? Maybe we can take turns playing with the lizard and pack him up and send him to the next cat to play with. Do they travel well? (I don't, I pee in my carrier)

Maybe he thought Pixie was trying to eat him, instead of shake his hand... He has small hands..

Wow! What a bratty lizard! Some creatures never learn to be courteous.

I think George could have at least shaken Pixie's paw!
How cool is it that you two get to play with lizards?
Daphne and Chloe just get to watch boring old chickens!

Hi Pixie! What a neat new friend. He may have just been to nervous to shake your paw. Maybe next time when he recognizes you. You were very nice to him!
Glad to see your cute face!

Thank god the lizard is out the Window. Else the poor lizard will probably be Pixie's new toy.

The Spice Cats managed to catch a cockroach yesterday, the poor thing never stand a chance.

Aaaaahhhhheeeeeeeee!

Don't mind that ... Mom's afraid of reptiles.

I think that the lizard was furry rude to leave Pixie hanging like that. You should put the bitey on him and teach him some manners!

Maybe the lizard was a little bit scared of Pixie. She is a lot bigger than he is. I am glad that she got to see him, though. Lizards are very interesting to watch.

Oh Pixie be careful. Things look funny in glass, it could be a huge alligator! And his name is probably George!
