Photo Hunters: Unique/Funny Signs

The Photo Hunters theme this week is unique or funny signs. This is a sign at one of our local parks, and I think it is unique to only certain areas! Here is a close-up of the sign. Believe me, I will not swim in any areas with alligators.
Here is a picture of an alligator in my very own backyard! This picture was taken a few months ago by my Mommie from our backyard around dusk. The sign says "Alligators feed most actively at night and at dusk"! I am very glad the alligator did not feed on my Mommie.
And finally, I would like to prove that even though I was Born to be Wild...
I obey all of the traffic signs and rules of the road when I am out strollering.

.....I read the news today (oh boy)..that a woman in Florida heard a noise in her kitchen and it was an alligator...the officials said it was coming for her cat!.....please lock all doors and batten down the hatches......

Poppy Q said...

Daisy I am glad that that alligator did not eat your mommie either. Who else could keep the Daisy empire running so smoothly!!

I hope you get a ride in your stroller this weekend and keep away from the big beasties.

Alligators? No way...
Great sign!

My cat caught a bat once. Apart from the occasional mouse that's the only wildlife in my backyard. Oh well.

Nomi said...

I think your mummy is too smart to get eaten by an alligator ! I love the picture of you obeying the stop sign. You are such a good cat and set a wonderful example for the beans to follow.

Daisy, you look so cute in your Harley shirt! Alligators and swimming do not mix.

Mom went swimming with an alligator once by accident. Her canoe tipped over when a ginormous alligator swam by. Mom practically walked on water and climbed up a tree. Mom doesn't do canoes anymore either.

Hootin Anni said...

Okay...so you have an alligator warning sign...but hey, you in your Harley shirt just takes the cake.....I LOVE THAT PHOTO!!!

alligators aren't much of an issue here. we live a couple of miles from a zoo though and I keep waiting for the day I look out the window and see an escaped monkey.

We hope you and Pixie Bananers have a great day!

OMG! I had no idea that you lived so close to those beasts. Daisy, I think gators are way more dangerous than vishus deer. Not only should you not swim with them, I don't think you should swim at all. Stick to strollering.

Good heavens-- alligators! We don't see signs like those up here in New York! However, we do have many signs warning people of dangerous POLITICIANS.

What's worse?! Alligators can EAT you, but politicians suck your blood!!!

Miss Daisy, do you get to drive that stroller thingie all by yourself? Wow!

My silly human has put a sign on the front of our house that says “The Cat and his servant lives here.” Of course, that ain’t no funny or unique sign ,but it is very true. OK?

Seeing them in a zoo is scary enough!

I have just started a blog called blogaboutanimals.com.

I have started a series of posts called Bloggers Pets and think your little kittie would be great. If you are interested then please do visit and submit a photo and a bit of text.

Daisy,
Please never, never, ever get near those alligators,

They don't recognize a good and lovely cat as you are from any other cat.

Better stay home healthy and beautiful.

Moki The Wobbly Cat said...

We are very glad your mommie did not get eaten by the alligator! Our mom being from California still recalls her first trip to Florida, and being scared to death when they found an alligator hiding in the bushes of a shopping center!

I am so glad that the alligator did not get near your Mommie! My Lap Lady was frightened by a 3 foot long alligator when she went to Louisiana - it jumped out of the water near her.

It looks like you have good strollering weather there!
