Fashion Friday: My Plaid Flannel Shirt

This is my plaid flannel shirt! It's very soft and cozy. Here I am concentrating very, very hard on modeling and my tongue stuck out a little bit. On accident. I do not think this ruint the photo though.
Since this is sort of a masculine fashion, I am trying a real girly pose with my paws crossed in front. Can you tell I am not a Mancat?
See how the shirt is longer in the back? This is called the "tail" of the shirt. My shirttail is not nearly as long as my real tail.
Since this fashion is not very fancy, I can only recommend it for lounging around the house on cold days. Do not wear a plaid flannel shirt to any formal events. That is my best fashion advice for you.
ps: If your legs get cold, I recommend wearing this fashion with denim overalls. Do not wear it with a skirt.

I like those kinds of shirts, but you are right about just wearing them around the house and certainly not with a skirt! Very good advice. I got my dad a quilted one like that which he wore all the time!

It looks like you do not think very much of your flannel shirt in that last photo Daisy.

Your masculine shirt complements your feminine self nicely, Daisy :)

Mum wore her 'Daisy' t-shirt to work the other day, and got lots and lots of comments about it:)

Daisy, Mom has a shirt almost like that. She agrees that it is best worn with jeans, or even better, matching flannel relaxing pants like hers.

Pinky Ash and Boo said...

Daisy you look very girly in your shirt,it looks cozy. Your shirt has a short tail though. This has been an exciting week,Harley in a skirt and now Daisy in this shirt. You both make it all look good though :).

Miss D, that is just the sort of thing we need for winter here -if I wore clothes of course.

Daisy you pull off the feminine look while wearing a red flannel shirt very well. Too many of us might shy away from the whole idea but it does look so cute and cozy warm.

Even when you are wearing a plaid shirt you look like a beautiful girl! Thanks for those great tips.

I think you look very cute and girlie in your flannel shirt. And your fashion advise is right on target. I scares me to no end to think someone might try to wear it with a skirt.

I saw a redneck wedding and the guy had jeans, plad, and tux jacket, so you can ware it to some formal occasions. Your suggestion is most apporiate, but it is kinda like a man cat......let harley try it on.......

Flannel is soft and snuggly to wear around the house. We get to nap on flannel and fleece a lot up north -- we figure you don't need warm things very much in Florida!

You make one cute lumberjack, Daisy!

Ah, all the fashions come back-- even for our four-legged friends.

I recall having shirts like that in the 80s. Might I recommend a wide black belt with a fancy buckle, and some leggings, to complete the attire, if the overalls will not do. :)

Clover said...

Hi Daisy and Harley!
Thanks for the fashion tips, Daisy. I will keep those in mind if I ever get a plaid flannel shirt.

We like the bit 'o tongue. We think it actually enhances the pose, showing the potential for action.

We think you should wear that shirt when it's cold and you have some hard work to do.... (maybe that means never! hehe).

Daisy, even in a flannel shirt, you are still the most beautiful model girl ever!

Shaggy and Scout said...

Maybe you could accesorise it with a banana. Er... bandanna.

Mango the Maltese kiddo said...

I'll listen to your advice, I'll tell my two redneck puggy brothers too, they have no taste in fashion, yeah they could wear the same plaid shirts for weeks on any occasions: BBQ cookout, fixing cars, mowing the lawn, chasing girls and mailmen, hehe!
Daisy, you always have the best form but Harley has the most impressive arch.
Love ya lot!

There's no fashion rule that we know of that says girls can't wear plaid. We both think you look great.

Daisy darling, if anyone would think you were a mancat, they should go to Specsavers! You are totally adorable in that flannel shirt and it looks so cosy, but maybe you should give it to Harley and reclaim your pretty pink tutu? Just saying...

Parker got here first with the Lumberjack Song... Dang! I would have been first with it but Pinky arrived, shortly followed by the gas man, so here I am, late as usual, lol!

I think Boris may be trouble. Please teleport reinforcements. I think maybe lizards like spiders? Perhaps your Godzilla would befriend him? :) xxx

Max said...

Daisy I think you could be wearing overalls and combat boots and you would not look like a mancat. You're too pretty to be mistaken for a mancat. I have it on good authority (the Younger Human) that girls in flannel shirts are really kinda hot. (I mean that respectfully, so please Skeezix don't punch me for flirting with your girl. I would never do that!)
