Happy Earth Day!
Did you know that today is Earth Day? It is a very special day for everybuddy to be aware of and appreciate the planet Earth and our environment. I think we should all be good citizens and do our very best to help protect the planet. Every little bit helps!
Harley and I decided to go Outside to help celebrate Earth Day. Because it's easier to feel connected to the Earth when you are Outside instead of Inside. Harley gets to wear my extra-fancy pink velour harness with a daisy on the back. Mostly because it is too big for me to wear. Rats!
Harley is looking around for any trash. We did not find any, but if we did, we would pick it up and throw it away! Because trash is dirty.
I got to go in the Front yard! Do I look like a panther posing on this big rock? Florida panthers are critically endangered. This makes me very sad.
I also went into the Back yard. The environment looks okay to me. At least for today.
In honor of Earth Day, Harley and I decided to make a little contribution to help preserve rainforest habitat. I might be too small to save the world. But I can still help.

What a great way to celebrate Earth Day. Enjoying the outdoors and contributing to help endangered species.
We're going to enjoy a little outdoor time as well, hopefully. Walking and public transit. And this weekend, we'll do our annual post for wild kitties.

You can make that harness smaller with scissors and a sewing machine. Or just scissors and a buckle.
Or no scissors and a sewing machine. Just overlap some of the strap and sew it together. Make it too small? Cur the thread and start over.

Looks like you had fun in the sun today! We used to put harnesses on our kitties, but they're too smart. The would wiggle their way out of them, like Houdini!
