Fireworks are so pretty but they do scare us don't they! And with all the commotion around the house you can't blame us for going and hiding under the bed. But barbecues are nice. Well they smell nice. I like to eat hamburgers that come from here, and nice sausages, and steaks, and chickens. Actually I think anything that comes from there is nice!

We has Canada Day on Wednesday and people was already making bangs last night and I doesn't like them.

We think it's silly it's called Independence Day because we all lose our independence, Jonesie can't even tend her garden...we are all on lockdown until the boom booms go away. Maybe we can all do a post from under the bed that day!!!

Are there dust bunnies under your bed? Maybe they would play with you and make you feel better about the loud noises. I likes to find dust bunny friends, but my roomba friends often find them first.

Trixie hid behind the couch on the Queens Birthday weekend when the fireworks went off, but Pyewacket sat on my lap in the window and Tigger watched them too. :)

Them fireworks iz scary...and it won't just be Saturday night, neither, it'll happen prolly Thursday (since so many beans have Friday off) and Friday AND Saturday in some bean 'hoods! We need earplugs...
