You touched my heart... and my eyeball!
Hi everybuddy! I wanted to tell you that your kind words and good thoughts for me have touched my curly heart. And it worked! Because my FeLV and FIV test results were negative, and my eyeball is getting better every day. See? You can only tell the difference in pupil size now if you look very, very carefully. At first, the pupil inside my left eye stayed a small slit even in dim light. Now it gets big again! Good pupil!
I wanted to thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. We were very, very scairted. My Mommeh does not know what caused my eyeball to go wacky like that, and I am not telling. Harley might know though.

Oh, Daisy, we are just so glad that our prayers worked and you are fine! I know how scared your mom was because I was like that with Hobbes just a few weeks ago! (Gees, who knew I had so many tears in those eyeballs??!) I really hate when the vets start freaking us out with big long scary names of diseases we COULD have--ugh. I know that is their job, but can we please start with something minor and work our way up???

We iz glad your eyeball is getting better. No surprise to us that you were neg for both FELV and FIV as many breeders test their breeding cats for both. Mombean does. WE is all neg. Mombean did have FIV cat- Jetta but he is gone to the bridge.

Oh sweet Daisy, I did not know about your eyeball until today 'cause my mommeh had me busy with all that company around here, what with hiding and slinking past when I hoped they didn't notice me.
My sister Robin who is at the Bridge now, had that same thing happen to her, way back in the 80's. When Mommeh tooked her to the v-e-t, it so happens that there was a visitor v-e-t there with him who had just graduated, He asked if she could look at my sister..mommeh agreed. She named the condition right away and they gave her a form of strychnine (I can't spell) pill for several days and her eye got all bettered. It made Robin foam at the mouth (harmless..her saliva reacted to the pill) and mommeh was warned about it in advance. All was well..really and truly. Mommeh was lucky to see a brand new graduated v-e-t with up to date knowledge.

thank goodness Daisy.....I have been away...and while I was at my sister's.... my eyes went a bit funny too. jagged bright lines.... my sister took me to the vet too ...I mean...the eye doctor .... and she said it was an ocular lmigraine. whew....I thought my retina was detaching.... so far so good...it went away in about an hour..... here's to us!
