I think you're both right. It is a day to remember our fallen heroes but it's also a holiday for grilling. You two are so cute, and you even have palm trees to grill under. lucky kitties :)
Harley, you are quite right, America is a great country! So we remember those who died to help us keep it that way, and enjoy spending time with friends and loved ones, and welcome summer with a barbecue!

It is not Memorial Day in the UK but we also are thinking of all those who served our countries in all of the wars.
I think Harley would be happy about anything.

And while you are at it, you can also remember everyone that you have loved that is no longer here. Memorial Day is a day for memories. We are thinking about Red, Cappucinna, Tigger, Oreo and Lao'tza...cat friends that have crossed over the rainbow bridge.
Enjoy the ones you love whenever and as much as you can because you just never know if there will be a next time so don't regret lost chances. Love is without limits and we each have an endless quantity of it so give it freely and without restrictions.

Our Daddeh saw the Presidential helicopters fly by his work on Friday. He says there are two exactly alike so any bad guys don't know which one he is in. Cool, eh?
