The Lotus Monster
I already told you about my fancy Lotus cat tree that we got about two years ago. Now I will tell you a terrible secret about this tree.
Harley and I love the tree, except for the cave at the bottom. Our Mommeh has put blankets, treats and toys in there, but we refuse to go in the bottom of the tree. Because that's where the MONSTER lives! Our friends at the Katnip Lounge have a monster living in their Lotus cat tree, too!
The monster is very sneaky, and almost never shows his face. Because that's how monsters roll. Especially the ones that live under the bed or in a cat cave. Hey, Harley! Why don't you go in there and check it out, okay?
Harley was too skerred to stay in there for more than 3 seconds.
Harley, you are not as brave as I thought! Do not worry, the monster is asleep now. I am pretty sure...

It must be very scary to have a monster in the cat cave at the bottom of your Lotus tree. Be careful.
Maybe you need to ask your Mommy to install lighting in the cave so the monster can't hide?
I didn't like my monster blankie to lie on, til my mum nipped it up for me. I wonder if that would work?
Or what about putting a cardboard box inside it or a crinkly cube?
That might scare the monster away.

Oh, that's a VERY scary monster! You need to be very careful there. Better yet to just stay away from the bottom of your Lotus tree altogether! Don't take any chances!
How scary! I'm glad the monster can't climb so you are able to enjoy the rest of your Lotus Tree! It's so cool :)

The monster is scary! I don't know that I could go in the bottom either. Lotus is beautiful though!

we've long admired your lotus cat tree from afar... so if you send the cave up to minnesota the boyz would be happy to de-monsterize it.
That monster has very scary green eyes - we wouldn't like to go in the cat cave either. If Harley daren't stay in for more the a few moments it must be a very horrid monster.

We think the bottom of that cat tree would be MUCH better with a hole on the other side - monsters don't like that! Our mom said that might cause stability issues, but that's a problem for the humans to figure out.
Yikes! I do not like monsters. They are askeery. There's one that lives in the bottom of the condo that's by my tower of beds. It likes to jump out at me sometimes. It looks suspiciously like EG, tho, so I'm not sure if that counts.

We don't think adult beans can see monsters. They seem to get annoyed with us when we avoid the monsters lairs around here. Would U like Fenris to come for a visit and scare the monster?

That's okay, the next time the monster goes out to look for food, your Mom or Dad can put up a sign that says, "No monsters allowed, please!" Then I bet it won't come back. :)
