Tuesday Troubles!
Mommeh came home from working the other day and saw THIS! The pantry was pried open and Harley STOLE the shrimp treats!
I may or may not have assisted him in breaking into the pantry. This is just a re-enactment...
Just look at all of the terrible damage the Harleymaniac did to the Shrimp Treats. Now the freshness seal will be useless and all the shrimps will dry up.
Here I am inspecting the damage. It is unbelievable! Finally, I must confront the culprit and give him a Very Hard Look.
I hope the Harleymaniac learned a lesson about stealing!
61 Notes for Daisy:
oh daisy don't be too hard on him we have some new treats that are grain free called my little lion and maxie is nuts for them he do anything he grabed the packege and did that to them too I do anything for greenies
Lilly lu
wow you got some troublemaker in your house and he is black and white and so is the proof now! put the shrimps in the cold box and maybe they will keep a little bit...
Daisy, did you teach Harley how to open cabinets and closets?
I have to put treats in a cabinet that Gracie can not reach, way up high! Gracie opens my lower kitchen cabinets about eleventy seven times a day.
I think the only lesson Harley learned was to eat as many stolen treats as possible before getting caught!
You should send him to prison. We did laugh that you could get the bag out of the pantry, but couldn't get the baf fully open. Good work team.
Miss Daisy, you gave him a hard look, but seriously, I just see him stare at the bag. I'm not sure he know you have been hard on him...tee...heh
Harley must have thought because there is a black cat on the package, that only cats with black furs can eat it! You gave him a hard enough look. I'm sure he feels adequately repentant.
Oh Harley, stealing is BAD. Did you get a time out?
Daisy you are very good with the hard looks!
Wow! He really perforated that package, Daisy. Bad, bad boy!!
Irresistable !!
Oh noes....not the shrimp.... anything but the shrimp. I think you must eat all of them right away before they dry up!!!
pawhugs, Max
Oh Harley bet it was fun stealing those treats. You sure got the look from Daisy. Maybe the treats can be put in another plastic bag. Daisy, you need to quit opening that door. Take care.
Jeez, all that and it looks like Harley didn't even get any treats out of there!!
"A very hard look!" Hilarious!!!!! You guys crack me up.
Is that really a hard look? or are you quietly whispering "Thank you, buddy" in his ear????? Hmmmmmm?
We have a sneaking suspicion that the two of you were in on the theft together.
We think a review of dental records and measuring the bitey marks may show who the real culprit was. We think Harley was framed!
Yes, my sisfur, Livia (when she's feeilng good) has done this before herself - with regular BREAD, if you can believe that. (WHY would a cat want BREAD for heaven's sake? It's ... unnatural, I think! Then again, she'll eat nearly anything - MomKatt calls her our "bottom feeder"! MOL)
In the interests of justice, I think Harley should have a fair trial. However, where would you find an attorney?
Purrs,
Selina
Wow, the Harlymaniac sure did a job on those treats. We think the very best way to insure their freshness is to eat them all right away!!
The Florida Furkids
you've got a juvenile deliquent in your house!
We're sure it was Notme who opened the door and got those treats out.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Daisy, that last photo is priceless! You are REALLY giving it to him! Don't be too hard on Harley though. Remember you may or may not have aided in this incident.
; 0 Katie
Somecat did that! Not you two..never. Ever.
Well, did he manage to get any of the treats out?
did he leave any treats? Last time mom found a similar event in our house, the treat bag was empty...
Oh, my! We have had similar break-ins at our house. Hopefully Harley learned his lesson!
Oh no u goin to jail :)
Oh no! Does that mean you will have to eat the treats quickly before they dry up?
That look is pawsitively SCATHING, sweet Daisy! We think we will show it to Princeton to teach him a lesson too! MOL!
I guess they just smelled toooooooo good to resist
I'm not sure a glare at Harley will make any difference--your human needs to hide them better!
Those mancats, harumph! They don't seem to know right from wrong. I think you need to give Harley a good talking to, Daisy. A hard look doesn't seem to be enough.
Domino is having her own troubles today. PURRhaps you can guess why.
Um, are you SURE Harley was the only one who had a paw in the break-in, Daisy? Just askin'! :)
But did you get to eat them all up so they would not get un fresh?
Daisy, we wouldn't really call it stealing...maybe just borrowing...
AND we have an idea so that the borrowing never happens again...a shrimp treat dispenser!!! Which Harley could access at all times!!
Um. Maybe LP will consider something like that for us too :p
the critters in The Cottage xo
Since the freshness is no longer going to last, you are going to get to eat them all before they go bad right??
Plead the 5th Daisy!
We know you can open that door in 3 seconds flat.
Maybe you could be like Bonnie & Clyde......Daisy & Harley.
Laughing at Lin's comment "...or are you quietly whispering "Thank you, buddy" in his ear????? Hmmmmmm?"
Looks like Mom needs to get a lock on the pantry door. We don't break into the pantry, but we have nabbed the treat bag from the counter and did severe damage to the bag. Treats kept falling out until Mom put it into a new container - hard plastic and we have been unsuccessful in break in to it. Rats!
Wellllll, you could probably smell the treats behind the closed door.
I love helping Miles commit small crimes and then he gets the blame.
bonks Daisy. Just think how boring life would be without your naughty brother? Miles really makes things exciting around here :-D
Allie: Ooh, that was a very convincing Very Hard Look! We sincerely hope the Harleymaniac learns a Valuable Lesson from this.
Maxwell: uh, yeah...what would that be again?
Very wise on your part Daisy, not to admit to anything.
Oh my! Trouble trouble. Hopefully Mommy wasn't too upset.
Maybe your Mom could put the shrimp treats in a plastic container with a tight-fitting lid to keep them fresh. I hope that the Harleymaniac has learned a lesson, but I think he would probably do it again, given the chance.
If the seal is broken, that means you have to eat them all, right now!
Is you mad at him cuz the bag did not gets totally opened and yous guys could eats them all!?!
Me would be.
Kisses
Nellie
She sayed thank you and Harley for the smile cuz She is very sad today so it do be good to had a smile.
Wow, you work that HARD LOOK, Daisy! Did the Harley fellow look apologetic once he realised the look was for him? We didn't think so...
yoW! Daisy, you and Harley are like a Dynamic Duo! that is, if you were to do such a thing as open the pantry when your mom is away... ;)
Are you sure that hard look isn't because Harley didn't share? :D
Pip, Smidgen, Minnie, Hollie
Hmmm, Harley must be related to our Percy.
The probability that harley will lern not to steel is probably the same as Tripper lerning not to steal.
Something tells me he has not learned his lesson...
Oh no!! Hehehehehehe! Mom has to lock up our treats, too!! Me & Clementine love to rip into the bags, too!
Your TX furiends,
Yeah, like next time pick something that's easier to open!
Yeah, like next time pick something that's easier to open!
Me and mom just LOVE the hard look you gave Harley !
We don't think Harley is guilty=we think there has to be another, totally reasonable explanation...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
Daisy, I think Harley might have learned how to open the cabinet doors from somekitty...MOL.
I put all the package treats inside of old peanut butter jars (plastic) to keep them safe from my house full of thieves! The jars are kept out - some on the counter with dog treats too, and sometimes I wake up to the sound of 'someone' batting a jar around to get the goodies out. Luckily it doesn't work!
Ha! LOVE your look Daisy! I sure hope it worked!!!
