In repose, my toes

Here I am basking in the sunshines. My Mommie likes this photo because there are not many shots where I am sitting quietly like this.

It's Toesday!

These are my toes. They are made of many colors, like my coat. Do you see my Candy-Corn pad? It is shaped like a triangle. I am going to put my best foot forward to start out the new year. Um, which one do you think is my best foot?

Toesday: The Secret of my Pad!

These are my back toes. I have an extra-special paw pad on one of my back feets. Can you see why it is so special? Look closer.... No, it is not the dirt in my toenail.
See?! I carry the image of Hello Kitty on my big pad! I think you will agree it is plain as day.

Toesday: Scratching & Shaking

I think everycat enjoys a good scratch. But sometimes scratching alone does not always work. ..Then you must shake, shake, shake your head all around until your ears make a flapping sound. Here I am mid-shake. It feels good! Do not forget to close your eyes before you shake so you do not shake your eyes loose. If you biggify the picture, you can see the frizzledy furs inside my ear!

Tummy and Toes!

Here I am washing in between my back toes. Because I like to stay very clean. I am all done now.... Why are you still looking at me, Mommie?
I feel shy now.
Please! Look away!

Toesday Demonstration

Here I am again, hunting the wily camera strap. Try to let your toenails get long and sharp so they are strong tools. First, you must snag the strap on one of your claws. Do not let him get away!
You can then bring it to your mouth for a little taste. If the strap is no good, you should release him. This one seems good.
Next you should tease the strap for a while. This will tire the strap out so he is easier to kill. You can also let him see your teeth, so he gets scairt.
Remember to use your mighty claws for grabbing, spearing, and best of all snagging the camera strap. You can even do all of this while laying down!

Professor Daisy's Tip for Cats: Do not let your Mommie see if your claws are getting long and sharp. Because then they will get cut. This is bad.

Toesday with Pixie!

My little sister, Daisy, had to go back to the V-E-T today. They are taking another x-ray to see if the special diet dissolved her bladder stones. Since she is busy today, I will try to take over for her. Remember, I have very severe cardiomyopathy and take many medicines each day, so I am sorry that I am not as cute and little as Daisy. I am still a good cat though.
Because it is Toesday, and I am a very experienced 11-year-old girl, I would like to demonstrate the proper method for cleaning your toes. Below is a step-by-step guide. Let me know if you have any questions!

PS: We will post an update on Daisy later on. If the special diet did not dissolve her stones, she will need to have surgery. So I am crossing my very clean toes and saying a little prayer for her.

Toesday!

Here I am, laying in a sunny spot, cleanin' my toes. And look! You can see some red lines in my ear! I think those might be called vessels for blood, or something like that. Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!! BLOOD!

Sorry, I kind of scared myself a little for a second there.

It's Toesday!

Lookit my toes! My paw-pads are multi-colored to match my multi-colored coat. All of my pads are a combination of pink and grey. What color is the leather on your feets? I'm glad mine have pink since it's my FAVORITE color.
