Happy 25th Anniversary Mommie and Daddie!
Today is a very special day, because it is my Mommie and Daddie's 25th wedding anniversary! I am supposed to say that my Mommie was only 10 years old when she got married. Nice try Mommie, but I do not think anybody believes you. To celebrate, my Mommie and Daddie went to the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne over the weekend. They stayed in a penthouse suite over looking the ocean! And Pixie and I were not invited. This seems very unfair, since we are part of the family. We only got to look at the pictures. Here is a picture of the bedroom, taken from the living room:
And here is the view from the balcony:My Mommie said there were TWO bathrooms, and they had fresh orchids in there. I think that there would have been plenty of room for a litter box, and some of my toys.
Here is the fountain courtyard, seen from above. I do not like to play with water, so I did not look very closely at this picture.
For our anniversary present to my Mommie and Daddie, Pixie and I are going to be on our best behavior for the entire day! Happy Anniversary!Pixie and I would also like to take a moment today to reflect and remember another anniversary. This is the 6 year anniversary of 9/11/2001. You can go here to view a 9/11 digital archive which is an "... on-going effort by historians and archivists to record and preserve the record of 9/11 by collecting and archiving first-hand accounts, emails and other electronic communications, digital photographs and artworks, and a range of other digital materials related to the attacks."

Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad Daisy. It is too bad that you could not go with them on their trip to Key Biscayne. It looks very nice.
Mom said we will always remember those who died on September 11th and we will light a candle and say a prayer today.
Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad, Daisy! wez hopes they had a grand time!
Happy Anniversary to your mom & dad.
Me and mom are remembering today and lighting a candle.
Happy anniversary to your mommy and daddy. It sounds like a wonderful place to cely-brate, I'm sorry you & Pixie didn't get to go.
We are also remembering Sept. 11 today. There is a link to a very nice photo display (not a sad one) of America on my site too.
Concatulations to your beans! That's wonderful.
Jasmine and Peter will have a 25th anniversary one day, but it won't be for a furry long time. They only had their 1st wedding anniversary this year! They celebrated by going back to Hawaii, which is where they got married last year.
Your mommie and my mommie are the same age...
(She had her first baby when she was 12 and Blizzie when she was 15! amazing huh?)
This is very very cool that both of our parents share the same Wedding Anniversary. It is really too bad that you two did not get to enjoy that fancy hotel with your mommie and dad. It is obvious there were two bathrooms for a reason...
It is a very sad Anniversary for so many. So many broken hearts.
Happy Anniversary to your Mommie and Daddie.
Happy anniversary to your Mom and Dad. That is a wonderful testament to both of them, 25 years is a great reason to celebrate. Daisy that was a very moving and memorable b/w picture of you and very touching remembrance to 9/11.

Happy Anniversary to your Mommie and Daddie! It sounds like they had a nice weekend, even though they were Daisy-less and Pixie-less. It looks like there was plenty of room for you two in that suite.
That is a very nice picture of you reflecting in the window. Thank you for the link to the 9/11 archives.
Love,
Tazo
Happy Anniversary to your Mommie & Daddie!!! The Lap Lady hopes that she and the Tall Man end up just like your parents some day!

Well happy, happy, happy, happy, happy anniversary to your mom and dad! That's wonderful!!! and what a nice weekend they must have had at the Ritzy! (I'm sorry you and Pixie couldn't go with them. And I agree with two bathrooms there would have been tons of room for your litterbox and a toy or two.)

Happy Anniversary to your Mommy & Daddy! It's the Silver one! That's like FOREVER. The Ritz is a wonderful place to stay. Too bad you & Pixie didn't get to go along...

Happy Anniversary to your Daddy and his Child Bride! (That's what my human calls my Mama.) I hope they have a special time at the Ritz, but that they don't forget the curly ones at home...
Oh Daisy, what a sweet post. Mosaic Lady can not believe your Mommie has been married 25 years! That is truly amazing. She must've found her perfect match soooooo young. People like that are soooooo lucky! (sort of like you and Skeez, huh?)
We hope you all enjoy the very special celebration and the bittersweet commemoration. (today is Ben Fuzz's Mom's bday. It's weird when very happy days have to share this sad anniversary, don't you think?)
there's no way that your mommy has been married for 25 years - she's so young and beautiful!! our mommy and daddy will be married for 21 years in 16 days - but our mommy was older than 10 when she gotted married.
Happy Anniversary! We don't know why you werent' invited on the little mini vacation celebration. Looks like there was lots of room for litter boxes, food bowls, toys and some outfits.
Laila and Lilly
Oh Kelley cat took the words out of my mouth about your mom being a "child bride". Hehehehe.
A very nice tribute and refection on 9/11 time.
I think when awful things happen it helps us kittys and the people we love to focus on the things that are really important in life...like head butts, purrs and temptations treats.
Happy Anniversary Daisy and Pixies Mom & Dad.
Daisy, we agree with you. That bed looks just perfect for napping and there's plenty of room in that bathroom for a litterbox. We think you girls deserve an apology!
Tipper & Misty
We can just imagine you & Pixie stretched out on that big bed enjoying a nap! Too bad you couldn't go.

Yes, I remember September 11th 2001 very well. It was late I am going to sleep. I turned the TV on just want to kill some time and see that happened. And turned all night didn't sleep.(In Taiwan time, it's different) Anyway, I will always remember.

This is very exciting that they are celebrating their 25th anniversary. Most couples don't even get to 5! I hope once My Lady and Senor get married they stay married forever.
Happy aniversary Daisy's mom and dad. 25 years - that a long time. Wow! the Ritz - that's ritzy.
Happy Anniversary, Daisy's Mom & Dad!!!
Love you & your reflection, Daisy ...
Tell your Mommy and Daddy we hope they had a wonderful time on their anniversary!
The Ritz sure is nice, all 'cept that picture looking so far down. That made Mom's tummy dizzy!
We are remembering 911, too.
~~Bandit, Gracie & Timothy
Happy anniversary, Daisy and Pixie's humans. 25 years, wow. My humans had their 10th anniversary this summer so they still have some way to go to catch up!
Daisy: Firstly let me say my congratulations to your humans for staying together 25 years. That is no easy feat and I don't believe I could stay with any human that long!
Secondly, I think a moment to reflect is a wonderful idea. 9/11 was too awful for words and I find your photo very pensive looking and apt.
Thirdly, I think you should reprimand your human for not taking you to the hotel. HOW can they properly celebrate without you there? HOW could they sleep, hmm? Didn't their conscience keep them awake? I am quite horrified that they left you behind!
xx
Wow, congratulations to your momma and daddy for being married for 25 years. That's very nice. I like that picture of you reflecting, Daisy.
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Daisy, you are such a nice cat, 10 years old, that was young wasn't it.
Happy 25th anniversary Daisy's Mom and Dad! From our Mom and Dad :)
Thank you for stopping by our page.. our mom has been REALLY busy with school and taking up all of our computer time doing something that makes her pull at her head fur 0.o .. she calls it " I hate math!!!!" She said something about "college" and "Full load" whatever that means, All i know is that she sure is busy :(
Mom here, tomtoms is right I have been really busy recovering from my surgery and going to and from appointments and I am enrolled in local jr college with 12 units of online classes. Online classes seem to take up a lot more time then on campus classes do! Taking Intermediate Algebra along with 2 child dev classes and a PE class. The algebra is what is taking up so much of my time, there is just sooo much homework and deadlines. I've missed reading and blogging. I've finally caught up with my math class so I will have more freetime to visit,
tomtoms -:) Thanks for visiting me Daisy! PS You've inspired us to look for Sea Monkeys! How are yours doing?
Love,
Tomtoms,Minnie, Dexter and their mommy

Wowie I don't think it's very fair that you didn't get to go. It looked like there were a lot of fun things that you could have done there. Oh well, we wish them a happy anniversary. That's a great milestone.
