Sunday Comics with Daisy!

Here is a comic I made about becoming a photographer!

The moral of this comic is you should study for whatever job you would like to do. So you do not make some mistakes like I did. Because none of my photographs came out good.

55 Notes for Daisy:

Dragonheart, Merlin, Devi, and Chloe said...

That is a very nice camera you have, Daisy. My home hopes to get one of those someday. For now, she has to make do with a point-and-shoot, since she's just a student.

The Misadventures Of Me said...

Mommy bean said your pictures were "artsy". I think you tried hard and did goods.

The littlest bean girl will likes your comic today, she's a big fan of yours Daisy!

Parker said...

Maybe you should stick to modeling Daisy! You are too pretty to be on the other end of the camera!

Sarge Charlie said...

Yep, we did not read the book and now do not know how to things. Grammy Bee will very seldom let the old sarge have the camera.

Empress Bee (of the high sea) said...

this is more like a lesson of the day!! i think it is a good lesson too!

Mickey's Musings said...

I agree Daisy. It's not always easy to get good pictures :(
Mom needs to practise hard too, heehee
I do really like your lizard though!!!You can really see his toes! They look kinda scary and sharp. He would work in Toes Tuesday. If George posed, would he ask for Temptations as payment?

Oh, I don't know Daisy. Your photographs have a sort of modern minimalist look, very chic. And your overalls are definitely the way to go for artistic work. Although taking pictures doesn't have that smeary messy wipe-your-brush-on-your-pants look that painting does, taking pictures can still be messy!

Sassy Kat said...

I think it would be hard to take photos of a lizzard. Don't you just want to put the camera down and chase the green little thing?
Haven't seen ya at auditions, come on over. Did you get my e-mail or are your agents not giving them to ya? The perfect part is there. Come on down.

michico*Adan*Lego-小芥*阿丹*樂高 said...

Hahahaha~!!! Very very cute~!!!!

I always command Michico to be the shooter, I am not so study cat as like you~!!!!

This is a great comic today~!!!

Sassy Kat said...

Thanks for getting back to me. sometimes my puter just does whatever it wants. Ya got a reindeer part (friendly reindeers of course, ha) The reindeers left are Rudolph, Dasher, Dancer, Donner, & Blitzen. Which one of those would ya prefer? Also wondering instead if ya would be interested in Mrs. Claus???? that is still open. If not I'm sure we will fill it.

Forty Paws said...

Well, Maw always sez when all else fails, read the instructions. Looks like it might be time for that.

Haha Daisy...even if you're not a vewy good photogwapher, you're a vewy cute one!

Mosaic Cats said...

We sure love your denim jumper, Daisy.
Do not worry so much about the steep learning curve you discovered. The moral of your story is the reason why we have lived here for nearly a year and Mosaic Lady has not yet gotten her NC driver's license. She does not want to study the manual and be tested. She is lazy.
But she is a very good driver, from Colorado.
(Please do not tell the NC Highway Patrol.)

Alastriona, The Cats and Dogs said...

We like the picture you took of Daisy. Mommy says it is hard to take pictures of subject that move. They have a nasty habit of moving right when you snap the picture (I think she might be talking about us).

Dear Daisy, what a good moral to your story. I do admit, I like the lizard one too. You are welcome for the award. We think you deserve it very much.

You crack me up Daisy - I know I'm always saying that but I can't help it, you are so funny and sweet. I read the instructions for my new camera (the first digital one I've ever had) from cover to cover but was not much the wiser, as you can probably tell from the (lack of) quality of the photos on my blog! xxx

Dma said...

another fine lesson although I must admit I'd rather read your blog than any ol instruction manual.

HRH Yao-Lin said...

hahaha daisy thats a very good moral althoughg i think your pics are kind of abstract and arty! x

Bogdan, the editor said...

Daisy. Your Sunday Comics are always sooo funny!!!

Diamond Emerald-Eyes said...

I always love reading your Sunday comics Daisy, they are so much fun. I like the way the white on your front leg switches from side to side as well. Neat trick, that. Must be new special power I not know about.

Willow said...

My dad never reads instruction books either! He thinks he can figure out everything by himself! Then my mom laughs when he asks her for the book! You do look like a very artistic photographer in your denim outfit.

Purrrrrs, Willow

Sassy Kat said...

Congratulations ya have been cast as a reindeer (friendly, of course). I could not get ya into the part that ya wanted but I am hoping that the reindeer Donner will be OK with ya. The other reindeer parts were already cast. Please e mail me two photos of your self along with the name of your part. I will see to it that it goes over to the graphic design/photo studio for this production. Looking forward to working with ya again!

Daisy, You are an artiste You may not be the next great fashion photographer, but look at the artistry in those images. Look at the composition, the mystery, the story not told. YOu are brilliant.

Our dad neffur reads da instructions den he gets mad and dat is why mom ends up building most of da stuff dad buys. He will not learn yoor lesson cuz he is furry stubborn.

Just Ducky said...

You are an artistic photographer, so they are supposed to look different.

Angel MoMo and Charlotte said...

I finally got in! Have been trying all morning and I was just getting a bit paranoid that I have been blacklisted from commenting on your blog. Just wanting to say that you are such a great model that you can easily let others go behind the camera while you strut your stuff in front. SS's niece saw you and was very disparaging about my lack of flair and expression in my photos. *sob*

Astrid (…and the kitties too) said...

Awww, well Daisy if you practice a bit your photos will work out way better

Oh Daisy it's ok to make a few mistakes, even if it does not really look like Pixie. Artsy is good. But maybe you might want to read a bit too! What a great job that would be.

*giggle*, such a cute comic, and with an important lesson, too! Owner's manuals are tedious, alas... but they are often helpful. Good luck with your new camera, dear!

Tyler said...

That is a very important lesson you learned Daisy. Thank you for sharing it.

Anonymous said...

First I'd like to say that you look GREAT in that jeans!!

And you're right that everycat has to study the manual of the camera first. But to be a good photographer, you also have to have an eye for it..., you know what I mean.:)

Kimo and Sabi said...

Art is a furry objective thing - there is no wrong or right. We actually really like da lizzard photo...it has a furry yin-yang quality...a balance of da light and da dark. Don't give up!

Just Sharlene and the Spice Cats said...

Oh! I like your outfit very much. I think you look very very cute in it.

Mr. Chen and Ollie said...

Daisy, maybe it's us but we think your photos are very artistic!! You may have a natural talent that will only be enhanced with reading that manual. It is good to explore things on your own, without manuals sometimes.
Purrs,
Mr. Chen & Ollie
