Hi Daisy, I'm not so sure plants that give the bitey are such a good idea. They might put the bitey on you OR eat any bugs that you might like to chase! :)
That is a interesting choice for a new pet, Daisy, we would have never thought of it! At least you are a kitty and not a fly, so you should be safe with it ... hee hee! Purrs and headbutts, Sabrina, Sam and Simon
i wonder why everybody is telling you that? will the plant really put the bitey on you??? want me to stick my finger in it first to test it for you honey?
Ooh Daisy, be ever so careful around that bitey old Venus fly trap. Only touch the outside bits, not the spikey bits or the inside bits, or it might try to eat you! And tell Snail not to crawl in there or he will be deaded.
Daisy Ummm,I think this time snail might be wight..I think he's a good fwiend and has youw best intesest at heawt..hope you'wwe OK smoochie kisses ASta
KC said... O, Daisy, i's not so sure about tha Venus Fly Trap. Snail haf good reason to worry, it might eat him up. An Jeter is right, 'member little shop of horrors. Purrs, KC
We hope you are too big for that plant to munch down for lunch. We think the snail won't be safe though. What a fun day it was visiting with you in today in Florida. We are so glad that our cruise put us in your part of the country. What fun to be with all of our friends. Sassy, Opus & Roscoe
Uh uh! There is more than one kind of trouble coming with these pets I am afraid!!! They might not only bite you but they might be COMPETITION!!! They eat MEAT! And I am sure they would love a tasty little lizard just as much as you do..... Karl
Daisy, I must tell you about the Venus Flytrap we had a long time ago. My husband figured that since it was a carnivore and we didn't have flies in the house he would try to feed it something else. He fed it CAT FOOD! I didn't think it was a good idea... Sadly, poor Venus did not digest Friskies well and died. :( So, whatever you do, don't give your plant stinky goodness! Oh, better not put your paw in it either. :) Good luck! Have a great day honey. Hugs and Purrs, Lorianna
Daisy, it looks like Venus has many many teeths. That is not a good feecher in the purrfikt pet. If yer so hot on gitting a pet, why dontya take Tripper????
Ah! Those fly trap plants. Mom was telling me about them. Her friend had one to many years ago and she and Mom used to feed it flies. (Mom was single then) It looks mean, like it might hurt your paw there. Great comics. Looks like it brought memories to my Mom
71 Notes for Daisy:
Oh no! I see trouble afoot! Daisy be very careful.
Purrs. Sukie X

Uh, Daisy, I agree with Jane. Plants that give the bitey might be competition for the lizards. They may not do much for your pawsies. Be careful!!!

Oh Daisy, I am sorry you have so much trouble with pets, I suspect we are about to have some adventures with your new pet.
Wow, that grew pretty fast!!!
My mom had one of these before. There cool and eat nasty bugs.Yet watch your foot.
Be very careful of your tail around it Daisy. I think it might give it the bitey. ~Charybdis

Hmmm... I know that bitey plants can be scary, but maybe you can train your bitey plant to behave?

Tag, plant, you're It!
I never thought I'd ever utter these words but I would listen to the snail.
Oh dear, Miss Daisy ~ listen to the snail ~ be careful!
P.S. We have tagged your sister Pixie for the Six-Word Meme!
Have a great Sunday
xo
Oh Diasy, snail is not being a worry wart, he is trying to protect you. That plant will put the nasty bitey on you if you are not careful.
Roxy
Ouch!! That looks like it might hurt.
Daisy: I've heard cats make nice pets. Why don't you get one of those?
Oah My, Daisy~!!
At least this new "pet" could train your boxing even much more faster!!!
Maybe with a mouth like that the plant can talk too. Have you tried striking up a conversation yet?
You know... maybe a pet rock would work for you...
Is plant good for you?? :)
Daisy, we'll visit you shortly! Yay!
Momo & Pinot
Snail may be a bit slow, but I's think he is always there for you, that is a true friend/pet. :)
I think you should be okay with that for now Daisy, but I am not sure about your snail!
Biting plants, hmmm. Well, my Hermies don't eat bugs, they eat bananers..which Pixie might object to.
Daisy, we think you will be OK with that new pet, but better put a leash on Snail!
~ The Bunch

Daisy, another cliff hanger of a comic! Please be very careful with the Evil Plant That Gives The Bitey!
Padre, Panda Bear, and Meerkat
Hi Daisy, be careful of the prickly plant even though it can eat you!
Great day for a cruise and even better to be able to come to visit you! Other members of the crew will be visiting presently.
This is a scary pet....you better think twice.

Hi Daisy, We just wanted to check in with you. Cruising is very tiring. We think it is all the sunshine. ~Scylla, Charybdis & Socks
Daisy, all these pets are very common. How about you get yourself a nice pet peeve? (My mom was common too. She said you should get a cat.)
BORING!
P.S. I hope these people aren't BUGGING you. Then, your Venus Flytrap would eat us all up. Get it? BUGGING? Venus Flytrap? Anyone?
Daisy,
It was fun cruising with Sassy, Momo and their friends today.
I'm glad we were invited to stop by and visit you. Your little white sailor outfit was so cute and fashionable.
Be careful. Those plants are carnivores.
You're right, the snail needs to worry about bigger things -- like getting stepped on or salted. What about picking a kitten for a pet?
Your sailor outfit was to cute. We need one if we are going to be cruising. ~Scylla & Charybdis
It was great visiting with you Daisy, thank you for inviting us. I think a puppy would make a good pet. ~Socks
Hmmm...Daisy we think this pet might be a bad idea. He will probably eat all your bugs!
Hi Daisy! Thanks for having all of us in the cruise. You have a very lovely place here. Come on board and have a look at our magic cruise boat!
Good luck in your quest for the perfect pet! Looks tough.
Hi Daisy - it's a pleasure once again to stop by your fabulous blog, and even more so in this boat with all of my furry friends. Have a great day!
licks & slobbers

Snail better stay away from yer new pet! I wonder if yer new pet likes stinky goodness?
I hope you'll find a pawfect pet soon Daisy
~ Girl girl
Yikes, Daisy - I'm not sure about that one!
Daisy, it looks like Venus has many many teeths. That is not a good feecher in the purrfikt pet. If yer so hot on gitting a pet, why dontya take Tripper????
I just had to pop over and tell you how much I love your (mom's) photoshop skills!
And also, I think snail has a point (or, well, two). ;)
Be careful Daisy, Snail may have a point. FAZ
I don't believe that will be a very good pet for you, Daisy.
I've always wanted a Venus Fly Trap as a pet too!!! You'll have to let me know how it works out. Have you named it yet?
Ah! Those fly trap plants. Mom was telling me about them. Her friend had one to many years ago and she and Mom used to feed it flies. (Mom was single then) It looks mean, like it might hurt your paw there. Great comics. Looks like it brought memories to my Mom

Really cute comic. And very 1970s, having a venus flytrap as a pet :)
John wants to know why you use the snail. Do you have a real life snail pet or just like playing with snails?
Liss
ROFL!!! Daisy -- Do come up with such comic weekends more often!
