Miss D, I am glad that you and snail stayed safe under the bed. I don't like fireworks either. Have a lovely week sweetie.
*giggle* Poor slow Snail.
You are too cute Daisy! Jingles was hiding during fireworks as well.
Daisy, I'm too curious to stay under the bed for long. Poor Snail would not have a chance with me around.
Yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk, yuk! We had confidence in you Snail!
Go the snail! Woo hoo!
I think that Mr. Snail needs a skateboard or something!
Hehehe, we are cracking up Ms. Daisy 'acause our Mommy is slow, too. Probably SLOWER than Mr. Snail! :)Hope you and Pixie Bananers had a great Fourth of July weekend!xoxo
ROFL, this is my favorite place to visit on Sundays. I always leave with a smile or a chuckle!
We watched the fire works from our window in the garage. They are very pretty if only they weren't so LOUD! ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis
Poor snail, he tried!
He he he! Snails are very slow. He might have made it by next 4th July!Purrs, Sukie X
Poor snail....he was running...we could tell! We don't like those noisy fireworks either.
What a brave little snail to go check for you Daisy.
Yes, you have to wait a long time for snails to do anyfing.
I stayed under the bed too :)
You look so cute peeking out from under the bed, Daisy! I hope you and Snail stay safe today.JD at I Do Things
Hi Daisy!Sorry that the fireworks for my 5th anniversary Gotcha Day celebration were too scary. It was so foggy and rainy here in NYC, all we could see was colored haze. But we could still hear them! I just turned the TV up loud so Mica wouldn't be scared.Your pal, Petey
Daisy, maybe you should have sent George Lizard. I like to hide in the bathroom when there are loud noises.
Hahaha that is very funny, Daisy. We still have people setting off fireworks at night. Thankfully, they don't bother me. Or Lucky.Roxy
Poor Mr. Snail. We think he showed great courage in being willing to go and see if the fireworks were over!
Be careful Daisy! Those fireworks can be sneaky... we are still scared too over here.xoxoxoxo
If you depended on Snail, it would be December by the time you find out.
Hahaha! That's FUNNY! You can never trust any animal or hooman or bug or whatever but yourself...Butt wiggles,Solid Gold Dancer
you are too funny Miss Daisy
yeah i know, i feel the same living with an imaginary cat that has his own imaginary spider! ha ha hasmiles, auntie beexoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxoxoxo
Well I am glad if you can stay safe, but don't worry about the sanity part. It is very overrated! Hee hee hee!
Dearest Daisy,Maybe you could give Snail some roller skates for his feets.Very truly yours,The Whiskers & Purrs Gang
(laughing)Daisy, I think the snail was frightened too...I'm glad you stayed under the bed...e-hug Ann
I am scared of the fireworks noises too. I was glad when they were over.
it is nice to have friends even if they are a little slow.
Oh Daisy, you and Snail look so cute under that bed!We got to stay in the basement for a little while during the fireworks. We don't like them at all!~ Bob and Patrick
Best comics around
Yeah,Snail is not too likely to 'hop to it'!!!!!! He just has one speed...slow :)Purrs Mickey
I fink stayings under the bed is best. You all's is safe thats way!
Maybe yer snail friend needs to werk out on da treadmil at da gym!
Snails may be good for many things but speed is not one of them.
We told you dat dem snails is really slow, but deelishus...accorging to Zippy.
If only they made kitty-sized ear muffs so that we wouldn't have to hear the booms. The vibrations would be another problem, though.
A(nother) cute comic. We love the Sunday comics with Daisy, they just make our Sunday.Hee hee, poor Mr. Snail can't help it if he's slow.We were all hiding from the fireworks, too.Purrs,Missy Blue Eyes
LOL that one was really good.
Darling Daisy, your comics are pawesome! Snails have two speeds: dead slow or motionless! Hope you and Pixie Bananers and the Mommie and Dadee had a great 4th July weekend in spite of the fireworks:) xxxP.S. Love your pointy Photo Hunt pics:)
Daisy neveer fails to cheer me up on Sunday!
I hope all of the noise crackers are finished around your house. We have had two days of the noise and I am tired of it. Loved the comic.
Too bad it wasn't George under the bed with you. I'm sure he would have moved a lot faster. I JUST heard another boomie. Yikes! I thought they were over! It's 12:30 pm on July 6. What are those kids thinking? I think they need a calendar.
Yeah, we didn't like the fireworks either. But we just have a platform bed at our house so we can't really hide under that. Anyway, have a great rest of the weekend!
muahahaha slowly snail, a hamster is better, more fast! Try it!='·'=
By the time your snail buddy got there, it'd be NEXT Fourth of July!DMM
You must get a faster helper. Uh, maybe a lizard?--JB
Daisy, maybe you should have given your snail a piggy back ride ... hee hee!Purrs and headbutts,Sabrina, Sam and Simon
That wuz nice fur snail to offer, but yeah, too slow. If he efur wants to git into NASCAR I hope yoo can let him down easy. Grate comic as always!
We hope you weren't really scared of the fireworks. Snails are too slow to ask them to run errands for you. Hopefully all the boomers are gone now.Tiki, Tavi, Cody and Camie
... but he always seems to do what you tell him! Happy belated Fourth of July to you and your family.
Snail sure is a good sidekick for you Daisy! Even if he is a little on the slow side!purrs,Auntie Spooker
Yep. Yoo need to take care of fings yurself instead of waiting for snail to do it.
It wasn't real noisy here so we didn't have to hide.
OMG this one had me rolling on the floor! I especially love the picture with Daisy and the snail eyes under to bed - what a HOOT!
This was one of the best Sunday comics ever! It made me laugh out loud!
Daisy of all the friends you have had mommy likes snail the very best! When she was a little girl in Germany, she played with snails too. They had brown and white striped shells and some were pale yellow and others pale orange....very nice snails but slimmy...
And what did you find Daisy???
awww thats funny...so cute
Snail was so eager, Daisy, just too slow and you needed to know, fast.Mindy & Moe
I'm sure that by the time Snail had gotten to the window to check for the all-clear, it would have been New Year's Eve-another Fire-Cacklin' Day!
Oh dear, poor Daisy! You shouldn't have gotten a snail to be your wunner.
Oh boy. that snail sure is slow. But I'm glad you're safe under the bed~ Girl girl
Oh Daisy - we guess those snails are really slow... but it seems the fireworks didn't do you any harm?
I am glad you have snail being with you , Daisy~!Fireworks is very very annoying!!!!
very cute and funny! :-) thanks for your good wishes and for stopping by! :-)
I was scairt, too! The Food Lady and Mr TF left us at home alone when all the boomies were making noize.
hehehehe, we Ballicai love yur Sunday comicks! You and Snail are so funny!Kittyhugs and purrs from MaoMao!
*giggle*, Daisy, you are adorable! Your comics make me grin from fuzzy ear to fuzzy ear.Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!
That may be true, Daisy, but he's a good friend. Not all friends would sacrifice themselves to see if the fireworks were done yet. I think being a good friend is more important than being speedy :-)
DaisyI hope you didn't come out too eawly..that snail is sweet but my dogness he's slowlove and smoochie kissesASTA
Nefer pay a snail by the hour!
Goodness, you had firworks still going off two days later. Actually I have never seen any fireworks or heard the boom boom noise that Mom talks about. Fireworks are not allowed out here where we are. To much of a fire danger. Loved your Sunday comic. Your Mom and you are so clever with them.Casper
* ROFL *Daisy, how about getting Snail some wheels? Opps!Paws up!Rudolf & Goofy
LOL.. I liked it.Poor cat waiting an hour, might've missed a lot of it.
Haha.. well done.Looks like the snail won't get to see any of it.=(
