Mr. Shrill, there's a job for you in the banking industry. The mattress companies are making a killing as several people feel more safe with their money underneath one than in a CD. Just horrible. They need to come to your bank. If I refer you some customers, do I get a referral fee. I need to invest in a new CD.

Guess if some financial advisor wants to take our green papers and invest them in CD's we should ask to see a picture first.

Well, we think it was a good idea, Mr Shrill just gots da wrong kind of cd's. Mom sez we haf some of da other kind of cd's and when dey is all grown up, er, mom sez it's called mature, we will get not only our money but some extra money. Mom sez yoo hafta invest in stuff dat guarantees a return. She also sez dem kinda investments don't appeal to a lot of beans cuz da intrist is lower den riskier stuff. Oh oh, we was on a soap box der...sorry.

You should always make sure your investment adviser is licensed...
Daisy, in the future you should check to see if your financial advisor is licensed to give advice, whether he has any consumer complaints or has been sanctioned by any regulatory body. Most importantly, you should ask what he is going to invest in before he purchases anything including questions about the liquidity of the investment and how it would fit into your investment strategy.
