Sea Monkeys: Stage TWO!
I see the water is all purified. We are now ready for the next stage in our Sea Monkey project: adding the Instant Live Eggs! There is this little yellow spoon for stirring the eggs all up. It is a fun toy, too. Hmm. Now that I have added the Instant Live Eggs, the water does not look so pure any more... I hope I did not make a mistake.
Soon, we are supposed to be able to see tiny white specks which are the baby Hatchlings! The directions say that if you are older than 35 years old, a magnifying glass is recommended. Sorry, Mommie! Do you want to borrow my magnifying glass?
Now, I must wait until my Sea Monkeys start to grow... Waiting is hard.
60 Notes for Daisy:
Wow, adding the Instant Live Eggs~!! Great~!!!!
I can't wait to see the new life born~!!!!!
You are a very good helper, Daisy, you sure doing great job to your momma~!!!
How exciting Daisy!
My mom says those instructions are rather rude, though. 35 is not old, she says.
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. I can't wait. FAZ
Waiting is so hard.

Waiting sure is hard, Daisy. We can't wait to see the hatchlings. We're sure you did not mess up that watre.
Purrs,
Mr. Chen & Ollie
Those instant live eggs sound furry interesting. And we agree with you Daisy that waiting is hard. Specially if Tempations are involved, or instant live sea monkey eggs.

smiles, auntie bee

How exciting!
p.s. Has the Stalker Lizard come back yet? MomBean said I can help 'shoo' it away if he starts harassin' you again!
First sea monkey lesson? Patience is a virtue?
Wowsie Daisy, thank you for sharing your Sean Monkey project with us. You really like the science projects, don't you?
Can't wait, the hatch!
Ty
This is a fun summer project for when it is too hot outside. I hope your momkeys are fun to watch.
We are very shocked to learn that you need a magnifying glass if you are over 35. that is sort of a rude statement implying that beans over 35 are presbyopic
happy day Daisy :-)
i thinks we will have a chance to blog tomorrow :o)
Purrrrs, Princess
Heh, my mommie is ten yeers older than that... so I guess she will need a microscope, huh?
Happy Wednesday Daizeeee :-)
~~Caesar
we want sea monkeys too!!!! i bet they taste good. I mean I bet they are cute!!
35 is not old!
Waiting is very hard. I recommend taking a nap while you wait.
I am very excited to see the next part of the Sea Monkeys!!
Uh-oh Daisy, a comment like that might get you a reduction in Temptations for your next modeling session. I hope the little creatures start growing soon! Do you think maybe Tom might be coming by to peep on them?
Kaze
Wow, that is so cool! Patience has never been a strong suit with us!
We can see why you make such a great scientist. You are patient, faithful and sooooooooooooo smart.
Your FL furiends,
Thanks for coming by and wishing me Happy Birthday yesterday. We had a lot of fun with you at the party. Samantha
Daisy, for some reason I find it a little scary that you are creating life.
Sea Monkeys today, especially cloned lizards tomorrow? ;)
You know, Daisy, those "sea monkeys" are really a kind of shrimp! Let us know if they taste as good as other shrimp.
Is Pixie disappointed since you won't be growing sea bananers to feed the sea monkeys?
Hi Daisy,
Can wait to see this is very
exciting :)
Jane, you have given me a good idea for my next science project!
Oh Daisy! what have I started! Is the world safe in the hands of Daisy Science? ;)
That water looks a littul yellow! Are yoo shur Pixie didn't pee in it? HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!
Tripper, Pixie would not go potty in the Sea Monkey habitat. Because she has good manners. And it is too small for her.
Can't waitCan't waitCan't wait!! We are verrrry excited!!!!
Wow, we can hardly wait. Do you have your transporter to take them outside yet?
This is very exciting, and plus our Lady is excited. She always wanted Sea Monkeys herownself. She wants the people that wrote those directions to know that she didn't need the magnifying glass till she was 42 (she's 43 now).
We are trying to be patient waiting for your sea monkeys to hatch. We brought the magnifying glass over by the computer so our Food Lady will be able to see them too!
Oh wow, it's reely reely hard to be patient. Maybe you can have a snack while you wait!

Purrs, KC
Oh, waiting is hard. I want to see them NOW! I can hardly wait.
This sea monkey stuff is very interesting. How long do we have to wait til they're all growed up? Are food supplies like Temptations?
Love,
Tazo
HA!
We thought you were teasing Mommie about the over-35 issue, Daisy! Thanks for the proof!
Also, did you ever read Stranger in a Strange Land? Mosaic Lady's favorite line is "Waiting is." You can ponder that one whilst you wait.
Daisy!
Remember the tiny lizard with the neon periwinkle tail we saw yesterday? Another one was on our back porch a bit later, and then ANOTHER one was on our front porch after that. This joint is hoppin' with these things. The one on the front porch looked like it was sort of caught up in some hairs and webs and stuff, but Mosaic Lady, being the idjut she is, let it be for hours. Later (and I mean, LATER) she went back out there and got a clue and helped it get unstuck from all the dirt that she lets pile up on the porch. (You did see the front lawn, right?) It ran into the "flower bed".
We'd try to get a photo for you but we don't think our camera has a good Macro Lense which is something (else) we obviously need here in the cat blogosphere.
Your friends in reptiles and monkeys,
(How come your Mommie keeps such a clean house and still volunteers 3 days a week? Do you have a maid like Anastasia?)
W, S & B
Do they automatically assume that anyone over 35 has vision problems? LOL
Are yoo still wating??? Yoo wunt me to wate with yoo???
Daisy, is it too small for Pixie cuz she's a porker???? HAHAHAHAHA!
OOOOOPS! Manners! I fergot. Sorry, Pixie.
Is it too small for Pixie cuz she's full figyerd?
Is that water good for drinkin'? Cuz I'm thersty.
You are such an attentive caregiver - you will get plenty of wonderful sea monkeys!!!
Daisy, you have such a great blog. I am really enjoying it! My cat wrote a blog post the other day after being inspired by you. I didn't even know she could type. You Kitties like to hide your talents. My Kitties both have the same fur colors you do and they really like your blog too. We can't wait to see what happens with the sea monkeys! ;)
Snoskred and the kitties - we're reading you via the Bumpzee Do Follow community and I'm so glad you joined, I might never have found your great blog!
Daisy, that looks so complicated and wonderful. You are so furry smart!
Oh boy!! Hatchlings! Even the word sounds cute!
Thanks, Snoskred!
Tripper, you done good, I think you might be learning manners. A little.
Skeezix, I would like to wait with you! Because I am getting lonely waiting and waiting for the little Monkeys to grow up.
Waiting is very hard! We've been doing a lot of that around here...

luv--jh
Whoa! Five whole days to wait for them to grow up? I'm sure you and Skeezix will find a way to make the wait fun.
Did you add any salt? I think sea monkeys need some sea salt in their water.
If you run out of Sea Monkey instant eggs, you can buy "brine shrimp" eggs at any aquarium shop.
so cool! far out.... we want sea monkeys...
ps 35 is so young...my pet human will not allow me to say how old she is!!!!
My Mommie is older than 35!
Uh-oh! Meowm will need double magnifying glasses then...cause he is over 35 and she will have to see them through the computer pictures!!
Waiting is very hard...Mom is looking for her glasses...
Tara
Are you gonna be the Sea Monkeys' mom?
DMM
Thank you for explaining what Sea Monkey's are. I doubt that I could get My Lady to buy me any of these. She said that there are too many things in this house to take care of already. Oh Well.
let me no if they are as kool as lizzards...
mmmmmm, lizzards...
You MUST take pictors of these baby sea monkeys!
I can't wait too!
Waiting is very hard. You are very patient to do such hard projects, Daisy. I hope your Sea Monkeys are a lot of fun, once they are big enough for you to see them.
Wayting....wayting.....wayting...has anything happuned yet?!?!?!
Wayting...wayting...wayting...
Well Daisy, are you going to dress them up in cute little outfits and feed them some of the bananas Pixie likes?
I can't wait to hear more.
