My very own pet FLAMINGO!

It's been a while since I have conducted a scientific experiment. Well, today is the day! I am going to grow my very own PET FLAMINGO! Every household needs one. I got mine from my friends Kimo & Sabi!
As you can see, I cannot wait to get started...
Harley was very eager to help, too. I agreed to let him be my lab assistant. But since he has no experience working in a lab, I do not have to pay him.
Here I am checking out the growing medium. "Growing Medium" is another way of saying "the bowl of water."
Now comes the hard part. We must wait.
Still waiting...
Harley! Please do not play with the experiment!
♪ Insane in the membrane. Insane in the brain! ♫ My flamingo is looking like a bowl of pink brains. This could mean he will be very smart when he is done growing.
Finally, my pet flamingo is all grown up! I decided to let him stand outside as a lawn ornament, until he gets dried back up again.

My Surprise Egg!

This is my new toy! It is called a Magic Grow Surprise Egg. I do not know if my egg will hatch into a snake, lizard, 'gator, duck or dino. I am secretly hoping for a lizard. You must be at least Four to play with this toy. This means it is safe for me. Because I am four. Years.
The hatching solution has been prepared! In case you are wondering, the secret hatching solution is just water. Can you see me breathing on the water and making funny ripples?
Next we must read the instructions. Sometimes I skip this step, and the experiment does not come out right. I hope my egg is a good Style!
Now, I must wait and wait and wait. Finally, signs of life! The egg is cracking open!
Uh oh. Something yellow is hatching from my egg. This could be very bad, because I do not know of any yellow lizards.
RATS! I got a duck. I am very disappointed in this toy.
My advice is not to buy any eggs unless you know what will hatch from your egg. Because you could get a duck when you really wanted a lizard.

My Not-So-Magic Rocks

Here is my new toy. I am going to learn how to grow Magic Rocks! This should be a very fun experiment. Before we go further, I will warn you that you MUST have your mom or dad help you with this toy, because there are some chemicals inside. If you are 10 years or older, you can do it by yourself. I am only Four. Years.
First, I am making sure that I have all the parts to my Instant Crystal Growing Kit. You should not leave any parts inside the box. Except, you do not need the plastic wrapper.
These are the directions. They are too hard for me, so my Mommie is going to help. Sometimes, it is good to have a Lab Assistant. (DO NOT use Snail for lab help).
All of the ingredients are assembled, and now we just wait for the Magic Rocks to grow! This part is a little bit boring.
Even though the water looks very delicious, DO NOT drink any.
LOOK! LOOK! The crystals, they are growing! Let's wait a little longer to see how big they get...
Uh oh. Something seems to have gone terribly awry. What is all that red stuff on the bottom? I hope it is not BLOODS! Because, bloods might draw sharks to the shipwreck.
Mommie, look! My experiment is ruined. Can you fix it?
I am very disappointed in this toy. I cannot recommend it.
ps: I do not think my Mommie followed the directions correctly. Or maybe Snail snuck inside and ruint another experiment. Snail is Bad.

Sea Monkeys: Stage TWO!

I see the water is all purified. We are now ready for the next stage in our Sea Monkey project: adding the Instant Live Eggs! There is this little yellow spoon for stirring the eggs all up. It is a fun toy, too. Hmm. Now that I have added the Instant Live Eggs, the water does not look so pure any more... I hope I did not make a mistake.
Soon, we are supposed to be able to see tiny white specks which are the baby Hatchlings! The directions say that if you are older than 35 years old, a magnifying glass is recommended. Sorry, Mommie! Do you want to borrow my magnifying glass?
Now, I must wait until my Sea Monkeys start to grow... Waiting is hard.
