I wish I knew how to make him come INSIDE. So we could PLAY together!

My cats like watching birdies too but don't have any inside either. They don't know bird talk like you, Daisy, but my dad had a cat (Timi) who made a chirping sound.
I know what Daisy's thinking - just let me play with that bird for five minutes :)

Daisy is so cute talking to the birdy. They call this "chattering" -- I guess cuz you is having a chat with the birds.
It's nice that you just want to play with the birdie, Harley. I think if you got too close to him, though, you'd want a little taste. Much too tempting!

ironically i saw a dead little birdie on the sidewalk on my way to get my morning coffee. it made me sad.

Oh, my gosh! I was so excited to read the title of this post, because Gus has a girlfriend named Dove, and she is . . . a dove! She sits on the phone wire outside and they converse for hours. Much in the same way as Daisy demonstrated.

But when you talk to them they don't talk back! I find it frustrating.

What an ironic post, because this morning as Dad left a bird flew by and he was thinking what we'd do if the bird had flown into the house. At first I think it would be fun, but then I think we'd just end up locked in the bathroom. I've been playing catchup on the week ... I loved the shelter pictures. It's so nice to see how happy the kitties were with their treats and toys.

Teri keeps forgetting to put out seed...so our birds have gone dining someplace else! But today we got to watch the tree trimmers all morning....furry interesting but no birds!
Trouble used to chatter at birds like that when she was much younger, and the birds were much closer to the window.
Two of our kitties like to talk to the birdies like Daisy does - the other two don't,so I tried to get them to watch the video - they just didn't understand how the kitty got in there!
I love the pictures of Harley too - that bird would be a lot of fun to play with.
