Is anyone looking? ::whispers:: I like to lick envelope glue.
Mmmmm, tastes so delicious.
Harley prefers to fold, spindle and mutilate the mail.

Monday Mystery: Answer the Riddle

Today I get to wear one of my pink tee-shirts because I am going to do a riddle about the color PINK! Are you ready?
Here is the riddle:
Everything Dream Daisy owns is pink. She lives in a pink bungalow and her chairs are pink, her tables are pink and her little bed is pink. Her ceiling, walls and floor are all pink. All of her clothes are pink, and her TV, radio and telephone are pink. What color are her stairs?
This is what I imagine Dream Daisy's pink bungalow might look like:

No more webcam

Just a quick note to let you know that we are discontinuing our webcam. It was causing our blog to load slower, and we think it might be the source of the occasional popup ads. Also, our Mommeh says it was exhausting trying to keep us in camera range for 30 minutes! It was tons of fun though, and thanks to everybuddy who visited us!

I Has a Confession...

There is a confession I must make. It is about Harley.

Most of the time he is the pesky younger brother who is always ruining my good time.
But back in April, I was very sick. I spent most of the time in my sleeping bag sneezing and snorting and sleeping. See how my little nose is all stuffed up? I was miserable.
Well, when I was sick, Harley did not leave my side. He spent most of his days sleeping quietly near me. So, I have to confess, sometimes Harley is all right.
But if you tell him I told you so, I will deny it!
Ps: Can you let me know in the comments if you get any pop-up ads, pop-under ads, or redirects when you are at my site? I hope I do not have a problem. Thank you!

We are Rotating!

This here is where I eat. Why am I pointing it out to you? Because today I am going to tell you about how Harley and I are eating a "rotation diet." Here is what we read:
The Nature’s Variety Rotation Diet is based on the simple premise that more variety will provide better overall health and well-being for your pet. You don’t eat the same thing day in and day out, and neither should your pet. By varying the proteins and forms, your dog or cat will enjoy a more diverse and complete micro-nutrient intake, as well as exciting tastes and textures for better health and happiness.
They also say that there is no right or wrong way to feed a rotation diet. We can just eat various proteins and forms of foods! You can rotate the foods daily, weekly or monthly.
Here is the raw food we have been eating. Our main food is the raw chicken medallions, which we eat about 4 times a week. We also have raw venison and raw rabbit medallions that we eat sometimes. So far, only Harley likes the venison but we both love the rabbit and the chicken.
These are the frozen medallions: venison, chicken and rabbit. We only eat one kind of protein each day. So if we have chicken for breakfast, we have chicken for dinner.
Hey, Mommeh! When are you going to thaw some out for me?
And here is another new food we are eating about once a week: it is Merrick's Before Grain canned food. We LOVE the quail. The ingredients are only quail, and water for processing. It is not a complete and balanced diet for everyday use, but we enjoy it as part of our rotation diet. I am a little bit crabilated because the food is still in the can instead of in my belleh.
We also share a small amount (1/8 cup each) of California Natural dry food at night. This food is good for cats like Harley who have allergies. If any of you have watched our live Webcam, you know that Harley usually finishes all his food in about 3 minutes, and it takes me a little bit longer.

Talking about foods is making me hungry. Is it suppertime yet? I am ready!
Here is a link from Nature's Variety about the benefits of a Rotation Diet if you would like to learn more.

Are you scratching your head on this one?
If you want, here are some clues:

  • It is a famous saying
  • It has cats in it
  • BIG hint: A famous play by Tennessee Williams has some of these words in the title

Photo Hunters: Upside-Down

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: upside-down. I enjoy doing upside-down looking. Things look funny that way!
Harley does upside-down looking just because he is silly. Hey, Harley! Don't let any flies get in there!

Catwalk Caturday (a day early!)

My friend Misha is in the finals of New Zealand's Next Top Cat Model! As part of this competition, he is raising money for the SPCA and Lonely Miaow, two great animal charities in New Zealand. Part of the extravaganza is "Catwalk Caturday"! I am going to post my entry a day early since it is also Fashion Friday.
Look! I am wearing my Misha button to show my support for Misha. I think my denim overalls are the perfect outfit to show off the button, because there is a little pocket in the front just made for buttons. And a red bandanna is the correct fashion accessory with denims. Trust me on this.
Of course, a bandanna also looks fabulous as a head scarf. See how proud I am to support Misha? I am smiling real big! Even my eyes are smiling!
Most importantly, this is a demonstration of the proper way to VOTE FOR MISHA! Just raise your paw and vote!
Good luck, Misha!
