Toysday with Harley

I have a confession to make: I am HOOKED on TRACKBALL! This might be the funnest sport ever invented. The ball goes round and round and round and round and makes a loud NOISE! I love things that MOVE FAST!
Now, I am spending all of my free time at the TRACK! I hope I get an ALLOWANCE soon. Because I need the moneys.
I am SURE that I will win soon. Just ONE more round. Go, red ball, GO!
ps: If you click on that green button on the left, you can help my shelter maybe win some moneys, too!

Photo Hunters: View

The Photo Hunters theme this week is view. Sometimes, I get to sit outside and enjoy the view!
Here is the view looking to the right from my backyard. That big tree is called a Gumbo Limbo tree.
Here I am enjoying the view with my Mommie! I would rather look at the view than at the camera.
And if I look the other way, here is the view to the left! Luckily, there are no alligators in my view today.

Fashion Friday: My Two-Piece Outfit

Hi everybuddy! I am very happy today because I get to wear this cute two-piece outfit. My favorite part is the puffy skirt. The outside is made of corduroy and it is lined with puffy netting to it sticks out real cute-like. It fastens with velcro, so I do not even have to stick my legs through the opening!
Now I am a little bit crabilated because my Mommie said I have to model the top, too. I like the skirt best. I do not understand why I cannot run around in just the skirt.
Oh, all right. I will wear the dumb top. Hmmm. It does have this shiny trim at the shoulders. And sparkly diamonds stuck to the front.
Okay, I admit the top is cute, too. Sometimes you must give your fashions a chance.
Now it is PLAYTIME! I am playing and playing very hard...
... and my skirt fell off! No matter, I can play in just the top.

I am HARLEY!

Hi everyone! I have never talked on the inner-nets before. My name is HARLEY. This is my HOME now! I am very HAPPY! Here is my story...
I was born at Cats Exclusive which is where cats go if they do not have a Forever home. I was called Neptune. Since I was just tiny, I had to go into foster care until I grew up some. Finally, I came back to the shelter, but then I got sick with something called RINGWORM. This made me lose many furs from my face, and I was worried than no one would ever want me. After many weeks, I finally got all better and was ready to be adopted. But something BAD happened. One by one, my littermates all got adopted, but no one ever came for me. Many, many months passed.... (the red arrow is pointing to ME!)
Finally, I learned of a family that had recently lost their beloved cat named Pixie. This was a very extra special cat, and they knew that Pixie could never be replaced. But this family wanted to honor Pixie by rescuing a cat from the shelter. I acted as good as I could and groomed my furs all nice and clean. And guess what? THEY PICKED ME! FOR A HOME! A FOREVER HOME! Even though I am already SIX months old. I told them that my REAL name is Harley. And they let me be called that name!
Then, I met another cat who lives in this home. I love other cats! And this cat has CURLY FURS! Her name is DAISY. She is my real and true sister now.
I am already 2 pounds bigger than Daisy! And I am not even full grown yet! I think this means I will be a BIG mancat. Daisy has MANY toys. And she SHARES them with me! An entire BOX of toys! See how much bigger my manly paws are than Daisy's?
Now, I purr and purr and purr all day long. I think I am going to be HAPPY here. I hope you will be my friend, too.

Fun with Chairs

Eating at the kitchen table is very boring. All you really need is a bowl to stick your head into for eating! So, here are some much more fun things you can do with table and chairs. First, examine your chairs to see if there are enough paw-holds for climbing. Climbing all around is good exercise.
Peer at the seat cushion in case there are any tasty crumbs there.
"Help, help! I am a prisoner! Set me free!"
Hahahahaha! Just kidding!
You can check out all the scenery. I like to look over my shoulder. Just in case something is sneaking up behind me.
Finally, I like to play Toll Booth Operator. No passing through without paying the toll! This game is fun and profitable.

Monday Mystery: What is the substance?

For today's Monday Mystery, you must guess what this stuff is! Do you know? I think it looks like something a little bit yucky.

Do you give up? Okay, I will show another photo...

Now do you know? It IS something yucky! It's some papaya. You are not supposed to eat the seeds. Even though they look like fish eggs.
I am studying the papaya a little bit. Just in case I want to taste it...
Nope. It is not delicious. I will not take even a single bite. If I give the papaya a hard look, maybe it will go away.
Did you guess correctly?

Photo Hunters: Road

The Photo Hunters theme this week is road. Here I am in my special stroller ready to hit the road! I would also like to say that these are old photos because I have not been strollering in a very long time. This makes me sad.
When we go strollering, I always obey the rules of the road. Here you can see that I came to a complete stop.
And we always stay away from dangerous things. You can tell something is dangerous when it has a sign that says "DANGER" on the front.
Sometimes we go off-road to look at interesting things, like this wetland preserve area. It is important to stay inside your stroller if alligators are around.
