Harley Goes Strollering!

It's HARLEY'S turn to go STROLLERING! Hooray for ME! Usually I am a little nervous in the stroller, so I started out all snug in my SLEEPING BAG. It is very HOT in south Florida, so we left right at DAWN.
I turned on my LASER BEAMS so I could help LIGHT the way. Can you SEE me?
Here I can PROVE that I OBEY the rules of the road. This sign means you must STOP!
Here is my FAVORITE spot. It is a WETLAND PRESERVE.
Here is a better picture of the WETLANDS. My stroller CANNOT go in there.
Now I am much more RELAXED inside.
Sadly, my stroll has ENDED. I am waiting for my WHEELS to get cleaned off before I can go INSIDE the house. Because I am a CLEAN cat.

Photo Hunters: Walking

The Photo Hunters theme this week is walking. I only get to go walking in my stroller. But my Mommie has walked in some more interesting places, so I will show you some of those pictures.
These old pictures are scanned, so the picture quality is a little bit No Good. This is from way before I was borned. My Mommie used to live in Tampa, and she went hiking on some of the trails in central Florida. It looks like sometimes it was very muddy!
Here is another real old one! My Mommie said this is Snow Valley Peak in Nevada. You can see Lake Tahoe in the background. I think that's a lot of walking!
This picture is more recent. It's called Old Rag Mountain in Virginia. There are lots of rocks to climb around on! Did you know I used to live in Virginia?
This is Harpers Ferry. When you do this hike, you get to walk through Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. Mommie, don't fall down!
ps: Here is the fancy hat I am going to wear for the Kentucky Derby today!

I Went Strollering!!!

I am a happy cat because I got to go strollering over the weekend! Here I am all settled into my stroller with my pink sleeping bag. We had to go very early in the morning because it is still too hot outside. And remember when I told you about the lake that was being built by the monster trucks? Well, I made a mistake. Because there are trees and things all planted around what I thought was going to be a lake. I guess it is a little wetland area now. Can you see me in the stroller?
This is proof that I obey all of the rules of the road. I came to a complete stop at the stop sign.
And I stayed far, far away from this thing. Because I know what "Danger" means! I am not too sure what High Voltage means though.
And guess what?? I saw some of the green parrots that live in the wild. Can you see them?
Here is a more close-up photo of the parrots. They are very noisy.
I can't wait for my next strollering adventure!

Thursday Thirteen, Edition #38: Let's go strollering!

I have mentioned that it has been many, many days since I have been out in my stroller. My Mommie says it is still too hot outside. Here are 13 ideas I have to get my Mommie to take me out strollering again:
  1. Limp all around and pretend that my paw is sore and that I must go everywhere in my stroller. This might be hard to do because I like to play and run around a lot.
  2. Point out to my Mommie that taking me strollering is a good way for her to lose a few pounds. I am not sure if this will work, because a mad Mommie is not a strollering Mommie.
  3. Be on my very best behavior so I can go strollering as a reward!
  4. Do the "Machine Paw" at the front door, over and over and over and over and over again.
  5. Make my eyes look really big and sad so she will feel sorry for me.
  6. Point out all the other cats who get to go strollering.
  7. Cry in my saddest voice.
  8. Cry some more.
  9. Break my harness and leash so that I will be forced to use my stroller to go Outside. I am not sure about this one, because I like to take good care of my things.
  10. Do a complete inspection of stroller. Check zipper. Kick tires. Fluff up sleeping bag. Mommie might take the hint.
  11. Do my strongest hoping and wishing for cooler weather.
  12. Park stroller in front of the door.
  13. Browse through the old photographs that show me going strollering and sigh loudly.

More Strollering Adventures

I have not been out in my stroller in a little while, so I was very surprised when I saw these new mileage signs. There are markers at every 1/2 mile now, so you can see how far you have strolled. And they are just my height! I think they might have installed them for all cats in strollers. Can you see me in my sleeping bag? Next we went to see the lake. There has not been any progress in many weeks. Maybe because there is a very bad drought in south Florida. It looks like I busted through the barrier! Hahahahaha!
Finally, on the way back I saw this in the road! It is an armadillo. I wanted to try to help him, but I do not know any armadillo medicine. My Mommie said she was pretty sure he already went to the armadillo Rainbow Bridge, so even singing to him would not help. Sorry armadillo. You probably should not have been playing in the street.
See the No Vishus Deer button on my stroller? This keeps me safe! But I am still Not Allowed to go out into the road.
