Fashion Friday: I am ready to join the Circus!

I finally have my very own Circus Suit! I love all the pretty colors and ribbons! Now I am ready to join the Circus.
First I will stretch all around to make sure I can move real good in this dress. You could do a bad stunt if your dress is not comfortable. And I do not have Stunt Insurance.
Now, I am practicing some fun Circus moves! See how the pretty ribbons fly everywhere? I like that!
I thought up this pose all by myself. Then I noticed that my tummy is hanging out. This was a small mistake.
Hey, Harley! You are in my shot! I am trying to model here.
Never mind. Playing is more fun, anyway.

My Bedroom Playground

The big bedroom is a very fun playground where I can practice my Circus stunts. Here I am standing in the window getting ready... Next, I jump onto the highwire. This part is a little bit tricky. Look at my back legs!
From there, I like to leap onto the next window over. The windowsill is a little narrow, so I must be very careful! Do you think I look like a flying squirrel?
Then, I can relax and enjoy the view out the window. I like being up high. Sometimes I pretend I can fly.
The clouds change all the time, and it is just like watching t.v.
And when I am all done, I leap down. That is the funnest part of all. I am Supercat! I think I am really flying!

Meet My New Friend!

Look at my new sock-kitty friend! I got her from The Sock Drawer Shelter. Her name was originally Daisy. But I do not want her to get confused, so I am re-naming her Craisy. And when you see her funny stunts, I think you will see why this is her real name. My new friend Craisy asked if we could do some Circus stunts. I think I am going to like this kitty! Here Craisy is watching while I climb aboard the highwire.
Then, she wanted to show ME a trick! I am watching her carefully while she demonstrates a One-Paw Balance. This is a hard stunt.
Now we are both practicing our Synchronized Highwire Cross. Craisy has excellent balance. But do not worry. We always practice with a safety net below us. Mommie calls this the bed.
And now, for our Grand Finale, we are doing a Tandem Highwire Face-Off! Craisy is good with the Circus stunts.
Craisy and I have many things to discuss. Here we are planning our next Circus performance. We are already good friends. Even though I am Not Allowed to play rough with her.

Thursday Thirteen, Edition #29

Here are 13 of my Circus tricks and stunts:
(you can watch many of my circus stunts on my video, Big Top Daisy!)
  1. Walking on the highwire. I have mastered this stunt, and it is very thrilling!
  2. The Feline Cannonball. This is a very fun, but you need a partner to help launch you through the air. (Do NOT use explosives for this stunt!)
  3. Acting like a clown. I know many people are scairt of clowns. But I like to show that clowns can be very fun and entertaining to watch. My main character is called "Hoppy the Clown."
  4. Lizard Rasslin'. You can pretend that the lizard is a giant ALLIGATOR!
  5. Jaws of Death! This is when I open my mouth wide and my fearless Mommie trainer puts her hand inside my dangerous jaws! It is very hair-raising. So far, my trainer has not lost her hand yet.
  6. Amazing jumping feats! Maybe I should rename this act Amazing Jumping Feets.
  7. Magic trick: The Mystifying Disappearing Temptation! Now you see it, now you don't! Where did it go? Nothing up my sleeve!
  8. Acrobatics. I can balance on the very top of my narrow scratching post without a safety net.
  9. World's Smallest Cat! OK, I know I am not that small. But if you buy your ticket, you still get to see my curly furs. So I do not think you will be disappointed.
  10. Carnival games. Well, the only carnival game I have is Tent Wars. And you have to bring your own tent. I might need to work on my carnival games a little bit.
  11. Machine Paw. This is an act I invented! All by myself!
  12. The Incredible Bearded Lady. Well, I do not actually have a beard. But I do have some pretty long curly whiskers.
  13. Trained monkey act. This act is still under development. Because I am having some trouble making Pixie act like a monkey. Except for the eating bananer part.

Practicin' my Circus tricks

I decided to practice balancing for my Circus act. So, I jumped onto the banister. Even though Mommie says I am Not Allowed, because I do not have a safety net. Hmmm, it is pretty far down there....
Let me try getting around this post here. Then maybe I can SLIDE down the rest of the banister.
That did not work. I will turn around and go this way instead. This is FUN!
I got in trouble for jumping up there. But if it is Wrong to get up there, why did my Mommie take pictures of me before she made me get down?
