Happy New Year, Everybuddy!

On the eve of the New Year, Harley and I would like to celebrate all of the shelter cats around the world who have found Forever homes this year. As our holiday gift to you, we would like to share a few images of some of the former residents of Cats Exclusive who are celebrating the holidays in their new homes because they were adopted in 2008. These cats probably have new names by now, too!

This is the silly and adorable Yoko! She had a little mohawk.
Hi Pepe! He liked to stick out his tongue when he meowed.
This is Shinji. He had to have his eye removed, but he is still very handsome!
Meet Tammy! She's a dilute calico like me.
Starry has stars in her eyes!
This is Abby. She seems very thoughtful in this photo.
The very cute and sweet Scout.

This is Alfie. He is modeling real good.
Meet the adorable Ava.
And finally, here is Neptune. Only his new name is Harley and he is part of my own family now!
We wish a Happy New Year to everybuddy! And our wish for next year is a Forever home to all cats and dogs of the world.

Monkey Business

Monkeys are cool! I have decided to learn more things about monkeys in case I ever get to have a pet monkey of my very own. Here I am learning that monkeys have funny fingers.
This is a very old picture my Mommie has, because she collects weird monkey stuff. It is a card made for viewing with a stereoscope. I am glad I found this, because I can learn lots of things about monkeys. Like, for instance, they enjoy playing musical instruments! Let's study this picture: (you can click on it to see it bigger if you like)
Here is what it says on the back of the image:

Now, let's see if we can answer some of the questions! Let's do it together. Here goes:
  1. Do you think the monkey close to the stage at the left is planning some mischief? I believe the answer is YES.
  2. Can you name all the instruments? The correct answer to this question is NO.
  3. What is the monkey with the stick doing? Trying to poke the other monkeys.
  4. Why does he sit at one side and face the players? He cannot poke them with the stick unless he is facing them.
  5. Do you think the very little monkey in the very tiny chair will play his instrument well? He is trying his best, but he is not very good.
I am sorry that I do not have an answer sheet. But I think we passed with a good grade.

Goodbye, Icon, my friend

I was saddened to learn that my friend, Icon Baxter Bentley, unexpectedly went to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. He was a very wonderful cat and I am going to miss him a lot. You may remember that he was my sister Pixie's special friend. As a tribute to Icon, I would like to share the Valentine video that Pixie made for Icon in 2007. I hope they are holding paws together at the Bridge.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everybuddy! Today we wanted to show you our Secret Paw presents, which we got from our friends at Manx Mnews. Here is the box, which I am sniffing very carefully.
And look at the beautiful card we got!
Harley enjoyed the tissue paper. A lot!
We got these very cute catnip filled toys! I am scratching the carpet because I am very excited. And we also got some very scrumptious foods called "Tuna Grill Cuisine in a Delicate Broth." YUM!
But here is the best part of all: this adorable Reindeer Suit! I think Harley might have helped Santa guide his sleigh last night.
I have a tiny head, so the Reindeer Suit was a little hard for me to wear. But I am a professional, so I still done good. Right?
Merry Christmas! And thank you so much to Abby, Boo, Ping, Jinx and Gracie!

Merry Christmas

Santa Claws is very busy right now...

Santa Claws is very busy getting ready for the big day tomorrow. I am wearing my Mrs. Claws suit so I can help out. You may tell me any last-minute Christmas wishes you have, and I will pass them along to Santa Claws for you.
Is that all of your wishes? Good ones! Now I will think very, very hard so Santa gets your wishes. I am glad this cap keeps my brain warmed up. This helps my brain waves work better. Sort of like a sweatsuit for my head. Only my head, it does not sweat. Except my nose does get a little damp. I do not believe it is sweat though.
Harley: Hey, Daisy! How do you work this thinking cap again?!
Daisy: Harley, take that cap off! It is still not too late to go on Santa's "Naughty" list!
Happy Christmas Eve, everybuddy!

Monday Funday: A Holiday Word Search

Hello, everybuddy! Here is a holiday Word Search Puzzle I made for you to try! You can click on the puzzle image and make it print out full size. Then, search for the hidden words, and circle all the words that you find. All of the words are things that a cat might wish to find under the Christmas tree.
If you want, you can sneak under the tree to see if any of these things are hidden there. Just do not let anybuddy catch you. Or you could get in Trouble. Then, fewer of these things might be under your tree.

Did you find all of the words? Click HERE to see the solution!
