A Toe Jam!

Oh, HAI, again! I was just napping and thinking about THINGS.

One thing I was THINKING about is my recent INJURY! One of my CLAWS went GONE! Even though it HURTED real BAD, I only cried a LITTLE bit. I am BRAVE like that.

Here is where the claw WAS. My Mommeh noticed my MISSING claw, but I did not tell HOW it happened. And I did not leave any BLOODS behind, either.

This happened about TWO weeks ago. Here is a CLOSE-UP of the missing CLAW. I hope it will GROW BACK!

It doesn't HURT any more, so I can LAUGH about it now. But I still hope it GROWS BACK soon!

Guess WHAT?!!1 I get to have a TURN to answer some questions about ME! I hope you will LIKE my answers. This is the LAST part of the QUESTIONS and ANSWERS.

The BEST attacks I ever do on Daisy are SURPRISE attacks. Usually from ABOVE. It is very FUNNY when I surprise her. I think she LIKES it because she makes cool NOISES like GRRRRRR! and HISSSSSSS! Then we play the CHASING game. I chase and Daisy RUNS. I am pretty SURE she enjoys running from me, because she does it ALL THE TIME! We are GOOD BUDDIES.

I like to do WILD and CRAZY things because it is FUN. Sometimes, I am SURPRISED at what happens. This makes me have BIG EYES. When you OPEN your eyes real BIG, you can UNDERSTAND things better. By keeping my eyes OPEN, I have learned to DETECT things, and also FIGURE stuff out. I think EVERYBUDDY can be happy and cheerful if you do only FUN things all the time. For example, I NEVER study for EXAMS, because that is a HARD job.

There are MANY beautiful GIRL cats I have met, and I LOVE them all. I do not have just ONE special cat yet, because I am only TWO. But there are a couple of EXTRA SPECIAL cats that I know. Girl cats are CUTE!

I have not been on a WALK on my harness or in our STROLLER in a long time. I prefer to just WATCH the outside from the INSIDE. I weigh TWELVE pounds. I am very handsome because I got good JEANS (I am still trying to figure out how a pair of jeans can make me handsome, but I KNOW that is the correct answer).

I am especially GOOD at helping change the SHEETS on the bed. I like to iron out the WRINKLES with my manly paws. I even made a movie called "HARLEY HATES WRINKLES!" My HERO is my Mommeh, because she gives me GOOD food and SNACKS, too.
Daisy thinks she is my BOSS because she is OLDER than me. But I think I am the boss because I am BIGGER. Secretly though, I want to be just like Daisy!

Fashion Friday: Good JuJu!

I need to get some new outfits! But I was rummaging through my drawers and I found this outfit that I got for only ONE green paper at Target. It says "JuJu" so I think wearing it will be good luck.

I am not sure I can make a one dollar bargain basement outfit look good, but I will try my very best.

I got some fancy jewels to help. And do you see the ribbons? Ribbons always make an outfit look extra good.

I am trying my best to make it work. What do you think?

This is the third part of my question and answer series. Here are some answers to miscellaneous questions. There are still a few more questions to answer after this, so there will be one more part where Harley answers some questions.

My curly furs do not need any sort of special grooming. In fact, I hardly shed at all! I keep my girlish figure because I only eat my raw food diet 2 times per day. We finish all of our foods in just a couple of minutes, and do not get any more until dinner time. We used to have dry food left out and grazed all day, but we do not eat dry foods any more.

I am definitely a Mommeh's girl. I am a tiny bit scairted of our dad, but I do not know why. I let him pet me, but I almost never sit in his lap... unless he has some delicious foods. Harley is a Daddeh's boy; they are always playing funny games together. My Mommeh always says "don't play so rough with him" and Daddeh says "Harley likes it, see!"

I love my Mommeh.

I wish I could visit all my blogging buddies. That would be fun! Except for the traveling part.

I get scairted easily, and run and hide whenever the doorbell rings - even if it's just a doorbell on TV. I usually run and hide under the bed. My favorite napping place lately is my heated cat cup, on account of it being so warm and cozy inside the cup. Harley likes to nap on top of the big armoire in the bedroom. He has also been spending a lot of time on MY curve perches.

My favorite swear word is "Rats!" I hope I do not get in trouble for saying that. In the mornings, Harley and I wake up about 4:00 am, and start running around acting wild and crazy until the mom and dad wake up. Usually Harley starts walking around on the bed canopy railings and jumping onto the bed. He chases me all around across the bed and I growl and hiss. My Mommeh tries yelling "Settle Down!" but we never do settle down. When she finally gets up and goes downstairs, we race after her and sit by our placemat waiting for dinner. Is a good routine, right?

I do not do much hunting, except sometimes I like to chase the lizards around the house. I have not done any experiments in a very long time! I hope I will be able to do some more fun scientific experiments soon. I think my favorite experiment was watching the lizard in the Scientific Observation Pen.

My Mommeh says her favorite thing to blog about is Mr. Shrill. I think because he is easy to direct.

If I had just one wish, it would be for every cat and dog to have a loving Forever home, a warm place to sleep, and a full belly. I would like to leave you today with a picture of my sister Pixie for those who did not ever get to meet her. She had hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, but she was a good sister. I miss you Pixie!

How Does THAT Work: My Brain!

Today I am going to explain something SPECIAL for you. I'll bet you are WONDERING "How DOES that Harley figure out so much STUFF?" Right? Well I am going to show you how my BRAIN works!

To figure stuff out, you have to think HARD. It is BEST to be in a COMFY bed. My motto is SOFT bed, STRONG brain.

See the white ARROW? That is where my BRAIN is... INSIDE my SKULL! If you look inside my NOSTRILS you might see a small part of my BRAIN. The BLACK arrow is pointing to my NOSTRIL. In case you do not already KNOW what a nostril is. NOSTRIL is a funny word.

NEXT I think as HARD as I can. Sometimes SMOKE comes out of my EARS. I like to cover my NOSTRILS so no SMOKE comes out there. It is not REAL smoke like from a CIGARETTE. This is called BRAIN SMOKE.

This is a DIAGRAM of my BRAIN. The BIGGEST part of my brain is for FIGURING STUFF OUT! Are you impressed with my BIG BRAIN?

If you THINK real HARD about stuff, you can GROW that part of your brain, too. Be careful because you might FIGURE something out that SHOCKS you! I am sometimes AMAZED at my DISCOVERIES.

Daisy Tells All!

Today I will tell you more answers to your questions! We will start with my modeling career, okay?

About Modeling:

One day when I used to live in Virginia, before I ever had a blog, my Mommeh bought me a tee-shirt and I did not mind wearing it.

The first fashion I ever wore.

After I started my blog, I decided I would like to model many different outfits. I get lots of delicious treats for modeling, so I actually look forward to my modeling sessions; when I see the camera and my outfit, I actually run toward the camera so I can get started! I usually only model for about 5-10 minutes at a time, and my Mommeh can take as few as 10 pictures or as many as almost 100! If I am modeling good, my Mommeh just keeps going, but if I seem bored, we stop early. I like trying real complicated outfits the best. I have my very own closet in the guest room for all my clothings. I have always been a good model, but it took my Mommeh a while to learn how to hold up the treat so I look my best. I have many, many outfits. More than I can count! Sometimes I might wear a tee-shirt for a while after my photoshoot, but I usually take off my outfit right away.

Toys:

I used to like to play rough, but now I do not play as much as I used to. My favorite toy is the Cat Dancer. It's fun to chase after. I also like my Gommelgrabber. We have a big box full of toys to choose from. Harley loves to play with ANY toy, but his favorite is the mouse on a wand toy. He really loves every sort of wand toys, and he has a pink wand and a blue wand that he carries upstairs every night and drags into bed. In the morning, he drags them both back downstairs with the stick part dragging behind him.

More Habits:
My worst bad habit is that I like to give the Bitey. I never scratch, but biting is so much fun! I never make any bloods come out though. I especially like to bite hands. Harley bites, too! Usually when he is playing rough and gets all wound up. He gets the wild, Googly Eyes, and tears around the house making these crazy noises.

Neither of us has ever gone potty outside of the litter box, and we only scratch on our scratching post. We have a litter box called the "Biddy Cat" that we love. It is extra big, and the sides are rounded so the litter does not get stuck in the corners.

Harley ALWAYS wants to play, and he is always jumping on me and chasing me all around. He is having a great time, but it makes me very mad. My Mommeh says Harley is a very good-natured cat who just wants to have fun, but I usually growl, hiss or box him with my paws, and he never, ever, ever stops! It has made me a little bit nervous, and I have started to overgroom my furs and now I have lots of missing furs.

Other stuff:

Yes, I actually have tasted cake! Skeezix got me this very, very special birthday cake with my picture on it. My Mommeh said it was almost too beautiful to let me eat it.

We have been using PetzLife oral gel on out teeths. Harley has a lot of tartars on his teeths, and we have not noticed too much difference in that. But his gums are not nearly as red any more, so I think it is helping him. My Mommeh puts the gel on our teeths with a Q-tip, which is easier than using a brush.

I never got to eat a real live dead mousie, but Harley chases and catches the little lizards that get into our house all the time. My Mommeh tries to save them and take the lizards outside, but Harley has learned to catch them and eat them really quickly and he will NEVER let one out of his mouth.
