Monday Mystery: Guess the Object!

Here is a funny object! Look closely, because for today's Monday Mystery, you must figure out what it is. I think you can tell that it is very old. I can almost fit my paws inside.
I see there is a little thing like a handle on the side.
Here is a close-up:
What do you think it is? Here are your choices:

A: A special cup for a monkey
B. A hand-held spittoon (yuck!)
C. An old sardine can
D. Something for cooking over a campfire

You can click HERE to see if you are correct. Good luck!

Photo Hunters #62: High

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: high. This is a good one because high can be many different things. You know I like to climb on high things! And I also love to jump high! Wheeeeeeee!
Here is a place that my Mommie and Daddie climbed that is a little bit high. It is called Harpers Ferry.
And this high place is called Old Rag Mountain. I think you can see in this picture that what is really high is the length of my Mommie's pants. Hahahahaha! Sorry, Mommie.
This is a different house in South Florida where we used to live when I was just a baby. A hurricane is coming, and you can see there are high winds! Those metal things on the windows are called hurricane shutters.
This is from the backyard of my old house. You can see that the high winds made some of the trees fall down.

Fashion Friday: Feline Diva!

Today I am modeling this cute tee-shirt from The Sophisticated Cat. It is a shirt made just for cats, and it says "Feline Diva" on the back. I am not sure if I am a Diva or not. Now for some accessories! I got this great idea that my fuzzy blue "Spoiled" cap would be perfect with my Feline Diva shirt.
What do you think? Too much writing together, I think.
Aha! My beautiful pink diamonds look good with my pink tee-shirt. But I still need something more...
My hot pink feathery boa! Now I really am a true Diva.
Here is my glamour shot:

Thoughts on Thursday: Jumping Beans Make Boring Pets

I have been thinking about my Jumping Bean pets, and I must be honest about them. They are more fun than my Sea Monkeys, but I do not think they are ideal pets. I will explain why. I hope this does not hurt my Beans' feelings. First, and most importantly, my Jumping Beans are not good at playing. I wanted to play a game of Catnip Carrot, and but my Jumping Bean would not play. He just sat there. He did not even jump!
I must also report that my Jumping Beans are not good at making conversation. Here I am waiting for my Jumping Bean to speak. He never did. Not even a single click.
Next I learned that you cannot train a Jumping Bean to use a litter box. In fact, I have never even seen my Jumping Beans go potty. I even put him in my litter box, but he did not perform.
Here is something even more disappointing: Jumping Beans do not enjoy dressing up. Not even in cute Hello Kitty fashions.
And the worst thing of all, Jumping Beans do not enjoy cuddling and napping with me.
So, I have concluded that Jumping Beans are better pets than Sea Monkeys. But just barely.

Tattle Tail Tuesday: The Forbidden Room

For this Tattle Tail Tuesday, I am going to tell you a secret: my Mommie has been trying to lose the same 5 - 10 pounds for almost as long as I have been borned! I do not know why she cannot lose weight, because she has this special room just for exercises. I call it the Forbidden Room because I am Not Allowed to go in there. Except for today.

This first machine is called an exercises bicycle. It is very boring. You pedal it, but you go nowhere. I do not think my Mommie uses this machine.
I do not know the name of this machine. It says "Body Solid" on it, but so far it has not worked very well on my Mommie's body. The seat is pretty comfy though.
I tried to figure out how this machine works, but I do not understand it very well. There are a bunch of heavy metal weights. I guess you have to lift the weights up. Boring.
Now this is something that looks more fun, a big ball! But it is cut in half. This makes it much less fun. So my new saying is: "Cut a ball in half, turn a smile upside-down." Catchy, right?
This thing is called an elliptical trainer. You move your feet on the pedals and go nowhere. This seems a little bit boring, too.
And look! You can even watch television while you go nowhere. That makes it a little bit more fun, if cartoons are on. But still not as fun as going outside in a stroller.
Mommie, I do not know why you cannot lose weight. But I like you just the way you are.

Monday Mystery: A Strollering Adventure

I got to go strollering again last week! It was a little bit chilly that morning (about 65 degrees), so I bundled up in my pretty pink sleeping bag first. We went out at sunrise. Here is a funny tree we saw. Do you like the trunk? I'll bet I could climb that tree if I tried!
Next we checked out the Wetland Preserve. It was still a little bit foggy outside. We did not see any alligators.
I hope you can see this pink bird. It is called a Roseate Spoonbill. We do not see those very often. My Mommie only took her little camera, so she did not get a very good picture of him.
Here I am back at home again. My Mommie has to wipe off the tires before we can go inside the house. Sometimes my stroller rolls over dirty things.
For today's Monday Mystery, you must guess the first thing I did when I got back inside:

A. I took a nap. Strollering is exhausting!
B. I had a snack and a drink of water.
C. I inspected the tires and climbed into the lower basket.
D. I was very excited and ran all around.

Do you know the answer? Watch this movie to see if you are correct:

Photo Hunters #61: Metal

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: metal. I am going to show you some pictures that make me a little bit scairt. But I also want to tell you that getting spayed and neutered is a simple and important thing to do! I had my surgery before I even went home with my Mommie. At a cat shelter with a spay and neuter clinic, there are many things made of metal. Here are a few of them.
This big metal thing is not a microwave oven, so do not put your TV dinner in there. It is for making things get sterile.
Here is another metal thing: an exam table. Vaccinations are given here. They pinch a little bit, but they are important too.
This metal thing is for anesthesia. So you stay asleep when you have your procedure. This means you will not feel a thing!
This piece of equipment is called a microscope, so you can look at icky stuff like what comes out of your ears, and poops, too. In case bugs are in there.
