Anatomy of a Jump!

I love jumping all around! Here are all the parts of a good jump:

a) Find a good target and make sure you can reach it! Keep your eyes on the landing spot and stretch your arms out real long.
b) Make the rest of your body stretch out long, too. Even your back legs! You can use your tail to help with steering and balance.
c) Coming in for a landing! Do not forget to apply your brakes!
d) The final and most important step is to wait for the applause for your amazing landing!

For My Friend TT

My good friend TT had to go to the Rainbow Bridge. This makes me feel very sad inside. I wish I never had to say goodbye to any of my friends. But I know she was very sick and it was her time to go, so maybe I am really just sad for myself because I will not get to see her or talk to her again. I should not be selfish like that. There are many beautiful poems already published, but I wanted to write something special for my friend. Sorry it is not very good.

For My Friend TT
TT, you were beautiful and kind
A friend like you is hard to find.
I'll search for you up in the skies,
Along with the magical butterflies.
Rest in peace, my cherished friend
And know that this is not the end.
When my time, too, at last is here
I'll find you, and hold you near.

A PSA from Daisy about catnip

I do not really have a problem with catnip. I can stop at any time. Really. But I thought I would make this Public Service Announcement for any cats that might have a problem. This is what can happen to you!

Just say "No!"

Fly away, high away, bye-bye

The big day has finally arrived! I got up early and got ready to release my Painted Lady butterfly pets. I am a little bit sad about this.
Mommie, are you sure we have to let them go? She said Yes, I must follow the directions.
I will give my butterflies a final kiss goodbye. I am whispering to them "Be happy and fly good!"
The Habitat is open so they are free to go. Goodbye my friends! I hope you have some babies.
This one stayed for an extra second to say goodbye. Then he joined his friends.
I am watching them go with a heart filled with happiness and a little bit of sadness. I think I done good.

Monday Mystery: Can you spot what's wrong?

So, I was practicing my card tricks when I sensed that something was Not Right with my cards...
For today's mystery, you must study the photograph below very closely and see if you can find what is wrong with this picture. You can click on the image to make it a little bit bigger. This might help you. Or maybe not.
I am not sure if this puzzle will be easy or hard. Do you want a hint? If you want to see a hint, look at the photo below:

Photo Hunters: Hanging

The Photo Hunters theme this week is hanging. I have some very exciting news to announce: after days of my chrysalides hanging around in the Butterfly Garden Habitat, my butterflies were borned! I have FIVE Painted Lady butterflies!
They spend a lot of time hanging from the mesh sides of the habitat.
I like to keep a close eye on my new pets. At first I was a little worried about all that red stuff. I thought it could be BLOOD! But I read that it is leftover color and unneeded tissues from the butterfly's wing formation.
Aren't they beautiful? They can eat from this orange slice.
This brave one came right up to meet me! His name is Charlie.
I am very excited that I got to witness the entire transformation from caterpillar to chrysalis to butterfly. It is like a tiny miracle of nature. But I am also a little bit sad, because my Mommie told me that I will have to release them Outside soon. None of my pets seem to stick around very long.

Fashion Friday: Velour is Pretty!

Guess what? I got this fancy pink velour jogging suit on SALE! It is very soft and shiny, and it has this fancy pink rose applique. I have never worn a suit with a zipper before. Zippers have teeth, but they will not bite you. At least, I don't think so.
It has this funny hood. This will be good in case it rains when I go jogging. How do you jog again? I forgot. Is it the same as walking real fast?
I figured out a new way to wear the hood, with one ear sticking out! I might look kind of hip this way.
My new jogging suit has pockets, so I can carry my keys and stuff when I go out jogging. I think jogging suits usually come with pants, but I do not know how to wear pants. Anyway, a jogging skirt is much cuter.
I think my new velour suit is very pretty, so I asked my Mommie if I could look at myself in the mirror. I think I look too fancy for jogging.

Yoga Daisy!

Today, I am going to show you what I know about Yoga! Yoga is a very good exercise to do so that you stay limber and strong. It is very fun, too. This pose helps keep my spine bendy.
You can use accessories to make your Yoga more fun. These are called blocks. You can stand on them with your front paws, just like this. It is not a very hard exercise.
Or, you can just use them to play funny games with.
Sometimes, I also like to use a strap. It helps keep your paws strong!
Here I am playing working more with the strap. You should also try doing your routine on a sticky mat. You can really dig your clawrs in good!
Finally, you should have a soft towel to rest your head on when you are tired. Namaste!
Ps: You do not have to do Downward Dog if you do not want to.

Mr. Shrill's Eyeballs: A Movie

I think Mr. Shrill is very curious about his new Temptation Eyes. So I made a funny movie about Mr. Shrill. Do not worry, he only ate a tiny bite out of his eyeball. I think he can still see okay.

If you cannot view the movie, you can go HERE for the YouTube version.

Mr. Shrill hopes you enjoyed the movie!

Sunday Comics with Daisy!

It was very wrong of Mr. Shrill to steal Snail's eyeballs. So I fixed everything!

I think Mr. Shrill likes his new eyeballs made from Temptations. I might kind of like them, too...

Photo Hunters: What IS that?

The Photo Hunters theme this week is what IS that? Can you guess what this is?

It is a chrysalis from my butterfly experiment! All five of my caterpillars grew up, climbed to the top of their little cup, and turned into chrysalides! I learned something new, because I did not know the chrysalides would have beautiful golden accents. I thought they would be much uglier. I also did not know the caterpillars would poop all over.
Now it is time to transfer the chrysalides into the Butterfly Garden Habitat. You have to pin the paper disk onto the Habitat. My Mommie had to help with this part because I am Not Allowed to handle safety pins.
I hope the butterflies hatch soon! The instructions say it will take seven to ten days. I cannot wait to witness the Miracle of Birth!
Oh, hi Mommie. I am just keeping an eye on my new pets. Do not worry, I will not bother them.
