Photo Hunters #25: Sweet

The Photo Hunters theme this week is sweet. Here I am enjoying a very special sweet treat: whipped cream! It is very yummy inside of my tummy. Mmmmm.....Look, you can see me actually inhaling the delicious treat! Oh, and you can see my curly eyelashes, too.
Sometimes the best way to really savor a special treat is to close your eyes. But, it might have been a mistake, because the plate of whipped cream got taken away and I did not get to eat the whole thing. Rats!
Ps: Do you think next year there could be a theme called tuna? Just wondering.

Formal Fashion Friday

This is my most formal outfit. It is not a new dress because Pixie wore it before. But I decided it was my turn to wear the beautiful pink formal. And Pixie also let me borrow her pearls, because they go so well with the dress. Here is a side view: see the beautiful pink layers? The layers are two different shades of pink, and they are very shiny! I feel very pretty in this dress, just like a princess. And the best thing about the pearl necklace is you can play with it. Do not worry, I did not hurt Pixie's pearls. I am pretty sure they are real. This means I must be careful and take good care of the precious jewels. Because if I do not, I might not get any more nice things.
Here is my close-up. I am trying to look sexy. Is it working?

Thursday Thirteen, Edition #27

These are 13 random thoughts I had this week:

  1. Does my tummy look too big?
  2. ::sniff sniff:: What is this black speck on the ground? Smells a little bit like dirt. Tastes pretty good, too!
  3. Why does my Mommie always want to kiss me on the lips?!?
  4. I wonder where I can buy a cute little clown suit in my size?
  5. Is that a lizard I see? Nah. Just a leaf.
  6. Why is Pixie so mean? I was just trying to poke her with my little claw. She cannot take a joke.
  7. Lizard? Are you there? Come to Daisy!
  8. Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix, Skeezix...
  9. I need a nap. ::yawn::
  10. Let's play! Break out the Squiggles!
  11. Here lizard, lizard, lizard, lizard...
  12. Is it Temptation time? I am sure it is Temptation time somewhere!
  13. Where are the scissors? And my blond wig? I have an idea....

Lizards are Rude

This little lizard got into my house. So, I decided to study him for a while. The end of his tail was missing before I got to him. I swear! I tried to shake hands with him, but the lizard did not seem to understand that custom. He just sat there. He might have been a little bit rude. I have been learning during my lizard studies that very many lizards are rude like that.
Then, he tried to run away! I am not sure why though, because I was not even playing rough.
But I caught up to him with no trouble. He smelled very lizard-y. Maybe he needed to wash his hair. I tried to help him out by grooming him, but he did not like that. I think this proves my point about his rudeness. I let the little lizard go back outside so he could grow up.

After studying the little lizard very closely, I made a detailed, scientific sketch. This took me many hours. Please click HERE to see my drawing. You will not be sorry.

Meme: Information, Please!

I was tagged by Ali, Ariel, and Baby Mao for Miss Peach's very own meme: Information, Please! I laughed and laughed when I was typing up my answers because it was very fun.
  1. Favorite season? Lizard season. For those of you who have not studied lizards, that is any season when it is warm outside.
  2. Favorite colors? Light pink. Medium pink. Dark pink. Striped pink. Polka-dot pink.
  3. Favorite room? The room my Mommie is in.
  4. Do you like dogs? I am a little scairt of dogs. Except, Titus is my friend.
  5. Ever been in an airplane box? YES! I flew inside an airplane TWO WHOLE TIMES! It was no good because I did not even get a Snack Box. And I could not see the movie from under the seat.
  6. Do you have the get bathed? Nope, I am a good groomer and keep myself very clean. Except my ears get very waxy, and I have not figured out how to keep them clean all by myself.
  7. Are you in love? ::blushes:: I think you know the answer to that...
  8. Where would you like to travel to? I want to go to see the Lizards & Snakes Alive exhibit at the American Museum of Natural history!
  9. What do you ignore? Anything I do not want to hear. Like, my Mommie when she says "Daisy NO NO!" What did you say, Mommie? Sorry, I cannot hear you.
  10. How many lives have you used up? Only one. When I had surgery for my bladder stones. Do you think I can get it back though? I would like to still have all nine.
  11. Do you have any dark secrets? If I told you, I might have to kill you. So, don't ask, OK?
  12. What is your favorite holiday? My birthday. It's a national holiday, right?
  13. Water or milk? Water
  14. Why do you blog? Because it is very very very fun!
  15. Are you into extremes? I love extreme Circus stunts. Extreme fashions. And Extreme strollering.
  16. Favorite TV shows? Project Runway. Top Chef. And I like Grey's Anatomy because I am learning some good doctoring tips.
  17. Are you a pesty lap cat? When I want to sit in my Mommie's lap, I am very persistent. And once I am there, I relax and turn into a limp noodle. So, maybe I am a pesto lap cat.
  18. Inside or outside cat? Inside. I get to go out sometimes in my stroller or on my harness and leash.
  19. What makes you happy? Everything! Except when bad things happen. Then I am sad.
  20. Your most embarrassing moment? Oh boy. When I had my bladder stone surgery back in January, my Mommie came to see me in the hospital. But I made a little mistake and hissed at her! But I do not think it was my fault because I was feeling bad and I had some pain medicines inside me.

My Mommie, she came back!

I am very very happy that my Mommie came home. And look where she was all this time! At the Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota. If I knew it was someplace fun, I would have tried to stow away. Even though I do not like to go swimming. And guess what? I did not even get in trouble for turning on the computer .

Photo Hunters #24: Shiny

The Photo Hunters theme this week is: shiny. The window at night turns shiny enough to use as a mirror! But I cannot see any lizards at night.

ps: My Mommie is still gone. Pixie helped me turn the computer on. Please do not tell on me!

I Got Scairt!

I had to go the the V-E-T yesterday! My Mommie went to put me in my Sherpa carrier and I tried to run away. I ran and ran and ran, but she caught me. So next I tried crying and crying in my saddest voice. That did not work either, so I decided to be very very quiet so my Mommie would not notice me. I did not even get to wear an outfit! Even though I have this very cute pink hospital johnnie which would have been perfect for the occasion.
Here we are in the exam room. There is a t.v. for me to watch while I am waiting. But it was on the History channel, so I did not watch. I wanted to watch cartoons instead.
Here I am, waiting for the torture to begin! The first part was not too bad. They examined me and looked at my eyes and teeth and listened to my heart. Then I got a sting! With a needle! But I did not even cry or give the bitey. I am embarrassed to admit that they said I have mild dental tartar! I better start brushing my teeths or Skeezix will not want to kiss me. That could be a problem.
See the hand? This nice nice lady took me to the back. I thought maybe we would play some video games or something back there. But guess what they did back there? They STOLED some of my potty! Sucked it right out of my tummy! That made me a little bit mad. See my mad face?
My doctor wrote on my report card that "Daisy looks great." And then he called to tell my Mommie that my urine has no crystals and has normal pH. I think that means I am not getting any more stones inside my bladder. Thank you, Dr. Connors! You are nice, even if you did give me a little pinch with that needle.

ps: My Mommie is going away overnight and she is not leaving the computer on! This means I will not be able to do much visiting. I am sad about this. I might ask Pixie if she knows how to turn the computer on.

Thursday Thirteen, Edition #26

Here are 13 things I love about my stroller:

  1. It has all-terrain wheels so I can go off-road.
  2. My stroller takes me on many fun adventures.
  3. I have seen interesting things from my stroller like: worms, dog-vomit fungus, monster trucks, armadillos, dogs, dragonflies, birds, and lakes.
  4. I am safe from alligators when I am inside my stroller.
  5. It can go fast!
  6. My stroller is a pretty color (even though I wish it was pink.)
  7. It has a handy pouch on the bottom for carrying my supplies. So far, we have not carried a supply of Temptations in the stroller.
  8. It has a strong brake so I don't roll into the water. I am pretty sure it is a high-performance Brembo brake.
  9. My stroller has very large mesh windows for ventilation. I can smell the outdoors!
  10. It folds up for easy storage. I do not really care about that.
  11. It has an air-bag for safety in case of a crash. What? Oh. My Mommie says it does not have an air-bag. Never mind.
  12. My sleeping bag fits right inside the cabin. If I get cold or scairt, I just climb into my sleeping bag and I am SAFE.
  13. It is mine!

Pixie's Happy Day

Hi everybody! It is me, Pixie! I am taking over the blog today, because I have something very special to show you. Look! My Secret Paws package came. It is from Timothy Dickens! I am a very lucky and happy cat today.

See, I got some special Fancy Feast stinky goodness, a catnip pillow toy, a fun fuzzy mousie, and a very big bag of delicious treats! Here I am checking everything out. But the most wonderfulest thing that I got is this beautiful kitty kozy. I love it very much. It is so soft, and it is my favorite color. And guess who made it? Timothy Dickens' Grammie! That makes it extra-special. And all my presents came in this box which is perfect for lounging in. I stayed here all afternoon.
My Mommie read me the card from my Secret Paw, and then she let me eat some of the treats! I had many, many treats! This really is my lucky day.
Then Daisy came to try to steal my presents! But guess what? Mommie said "Daisy NO NO!" And Daisy did not get to take them from me!
Thank you ever so much Timothy Dickens! And thank you to your Grammie, too. I was so happy, I forgot for a while that my heart hurts me. That is a good present, too.

Trees and Tummies on Tuesday

Last week, we had a bad thunderstorm. There was lots of wind, rain, lighting and thunder, and two trees fell down! I was a little bit scairt. The next day I decided to go outside in my backyard to see what a tree that fell down looks like. But first, I checked for lizards in the usual spot. And George was there! But I let him go because I had more important things to do. Here is one of our trees that fell down. He looks very sad to be laying on the ground. I told him to stand up straight, but he couldn't do it. He is called a tabebuia tree. But he has no name. Because he is a TREE!
I need a closer look... Yes, this looks very bad.
Look at me! I am climbing a tree! This isn't as hard as I thought... But I found out that I am not strong enough to fix the tree. My Mommie had to call some tree fixers.
Now that my work is done, I am going to take a little break. Ahhhh, a Full Monty in the sun. I am showing this picture especially for Skeezy!
The sun feels very good on my furs. I like to roll around a lot, too.

Here is my new movie called "Machine-Paw." I hope you enjoy it!

If the YouTube version is not loading, you can click here to watch the movie.

ps: My Mommie calls this my "Running Man" move. She does not know why I do this. I do not know why I do this. I just do it. All the time. Everywhere.

Happy Father's Day!

For Father's Day today, Pixie and I decided to prepare a special breakfast for our Daddie. We made him a bowl of Nutro Gourmet Classics with bananers on top, and a plate of Sheba Tuna & Prawn Dinner with Aspic. The Premium cuts. We served this with a glass of milk, and gave him the newspaper to read, and a special card. But Pixie decided to steal the bananers when she thought no one was looking. I knew it was a mistake to serve the bananers!
See! She ate them right out of the bowl.
Oh, here he comes now. Happy Father's Day!
I do not know why, but our Daddie decided not to eat the special breakfast. And he let US have it instead! I think because he loves us.

Photo Hunters #23: Hair

The Photo Hunters theme this week is hair. Even though I have beautiful, naturally curly furs, I have this blond wig for special occasions. See the pretty pink bows?
I think I might need to comb my hair, because it looks a little bit unkempt. Also, my bangs need a trim.
Here is a bonus photo: See how my chin is all wet? I was so excited about the Temptations I was getting during this photo shoot that I started drooling! That might be just a little unprofessional of me.

Fashion Show Friday: I'm a COWGIRL!

Here is my newest outfit. It has this pretty cow print, with pink ultra-suede fringe on the bottom. Real cowboys wear fringe just like that! It also says "Cowgirl at Heart" on the back. I am not sure yet if I am a Cowgirl at heart. I still think it is OK to wear this outfit though. Here I am checking myself out in the mirror. Unfortunately, the mirror is too high for me to see a little mistake my Mommie made when she dressed me. See? Some of the fringe in the front got stuck on the inside. But maybe that's a good thing so I can show Skeezix my tummy!
Next I am choosing a bottle of wine for after the photo shoot. Even though I am not really allowed to drink wine. The red wines are on this side.
Can you pick me out from the other cows? I think the pink fringe might give away my disguise.
My Grandma got me this outfit. I think I have the best Grandma ever!
